Was looking for a lightweight extra layer cotton blanket and bought this one based on past good experience with this company. Works great as an extra layer for the winter without getting overheated and feels like it should be good by itself for the summer as long as you don't have AC cranking too high. So many of these types of blankets are quite expensive for not being a whole lot to them. This one is a much more affordable price yet still seems to be made very well and is nice and soft. The color also looks great, just like shown in the pictures. Haven't had any problems with stitching coming loose or frayed strings left hanging. Be prepared for it to shrink a little once washed, though it is a little oversized to allow for that. So far I don't have anything negative to say, it's a nice blanket. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This particular blanket was not my first choice, color wise, but the one in the color I felt would match my bedding the most was not available in the size I wanted. My bed is a QUEEN but I purchased this blanket in size KING. The photo/video is of the blanket on my bed after washing & drying. I’m unsure if it shrank because I didn’t measure it before washing it. It is a standard lightweight cotton blanket. Slightly scratchy before being washed, less scratchy afterwards and it definitely softens up in the wash. But remember it’s waffle cotton, not fleece or jersey- so it’s not going to be some sort of fluffy soft cloud blanket, by nature. It’s a good spring/summer blanket because it’s lightweight. I will use it over my top sheet in my bed in place of my comforter when the weather is hotter. I like it! I’m glad I purchased the king for my queen bed because I think it worked out better. Judge for yourself via photos. I tucked it under my mattress like you would with bed sheets & the size worked out great. The color is not a true lavender- there is more a pink tone to it than lavender would have. But it’s pretty and spring-y. ... show more

This blanket was just what I was looking for. It looks nice, it's lightweight, and it still keeps me warm. I highly recommend this blanket. I washed it before using it on the bed but I couldn't find any washing instructions in the paper work so I dried it on medium setting. Then I saw on the label that it should be dried on low so I think it shrunk maybe just a little bit. So be aware to make sure you use a low dryer setting. ... show more

If you are looking for cotton, then this is for you. I bought multiple sizes and just bought a king as a bed spread for my daughter's queen bed for a casual easy to wash top. We love the feel of cotton and this does not disappoint. The throw size is small for my husband in our living room, but I bought them for me, so I am happy with them to add a pop of color and warm me when needed. I bought the King size blanket. My bed is only a full size (slightly smaller than Queen). Package arrived in timely manner. I washed in cold water but the color faded a little and it shrunk. That’s why I have taken 2 stars off of my rating. I didn’t find a bunch of lint in my dryer like other reviewers have mentioned. Just a minimal amount. The King size washed blanket fits my full sized bed perfectly and is pretty good quality. I suggest buying a size up otherwise the blanket might be too small for your bed after washing.
