I have set up my sauna as directed but there is no far I fared light. Every far infared sauna I’ve been in had the red light. So my question is - is this truly a far infared sauna? It heats up nicely but I am questioning whether it truly is far infared - which is what I am after.

The media could not be loaded. I get cold chills pretty bad in the winter in Maine. A few years ago my husband built a sauna out of an old shed but it's a Woodfired sauna so it's a whole thing to set up and get up to temp and he doesn't always want to sauna when I do. Some friends had a portable sauna but nothing as nice as this. This seemed like a nice in between when we don't have space for a big cedar infrared sauna in our house. It takes longer than 20 mins to put together, nearly an hour, but that was probably just because it was the first time. I think if I have to put it away I can leave parts of it together so it'll be faster next time. One person could put it together but it was helpful to have another person when putting it together. The sauna heats up surprisingly fast, granted it's not chilly today but I was still surprised at how fast it got hot. I think if you really wanted to 2 people could fit. It comes with a fold up camp chair for one person. The heated foot pad is an awesome touch. My cat went in immediately. I had to tell him that this hot box wasn't for him. I feel like a jacket potato in this thing. It's awesome! It's going to be really nice in the winter after shoveling the driveway. I'm going to live in this sauna tent!!! I'm trying to clear some space so it can stay set up.

My family and I have been using this sauna for a while. It helps to sweat and detoxify very well. If use it regularly for a period of time, I feel that I have become thinner and my skin has become better.
