This is my favorite wall charger in the house. It's very easy to install. The way it's built, it's flush on the wall with no gaps. You simply take out your old plate and screw in this one. It is very stable. It provides tons of charging and plug-in options. Great functionality. I have it on the wall next to my couch.... Okay, so I'm not exactly a qualified techy or electrician. (That's my disclaimer) However, like every other household, I have laptops, cellphones, Tablets, and more, and the usual 'power strips" were under foot -- literally. This product provides power surge protection, inserts into a standard three-prong outlet, and comes with a screw to anchor it in — although I did not have to. Just don't yank your cords out, and it stays in fine. Five outlets are immediately available, as well as charging ports of various sizes. My cell uses the "C" charger, and it's a breeze to charge it now! I will be ordering at least two more for other rooms in the home. It's sturdy, functional, and at a most reasonable price. Save those power strops for some hidden place behind your entertainment system. This is the way to go!

These are great for rooms that don't have a lot of outlets available. I bought one for at work and at home. They are very easy to install and the provided screw means that they are very sturdy when you are plugging things in or taking plugs out. There is a light to indicate that it is protected, but the light is not bright enough to be irritating. I would repurchase these in a heartbeat if I ever needed more. Most days I am charging my phone and laptop as well as running a lamp and I have not noticed a decrease in charging speed.

The surge protector when screwed into the outlet is very secured and tight, will not move or fall out. If your surge protector is loose, you can buy a new face plate for less than a dollar and it should fix the issue (unless it’s the outlet itself which can be replaced for less than $10). You have many options to charge your devices or to plug stuff in. Turns 2 outlets into many. My favorite thing is having USB A and C on it so I can use it to charge things that doesn’t need many watts to charge. The power is good enough to power multiple items. Lamps, led lights to a bed frame, charges iPad, phone, watch, AirPods, steam deck and other things all at the same time with no issues whatsoever.

This outlet extender works really well for us. It has plenty of charging ports—both regular plugs and USB—which makes it super convenient, and it’s surprisingly compact, not big or bulky at all. The price is great, too. We actually bought a more expensive one before this and it stopped working after a few months. This one has already lasted longer, and it cost way less. The only downside for us is the sturdiness. It has a spot for a center screw to secure it to the wall, but our outlet doesn’t have that screw hole, so it wobbles a bit when you unplug something. That said, we usually leave everything plugged in, so it’s not a big deal. But if you’re planning to plug and unplug things a lot, just make sure your outlet can support that screw to keep it steady.

For years I had a large back-up power supply with surge protection. No USB Plugs!. My wife had a maller one I purchased in 1999. Both working, nearing need to replace batteries. Neither of us needs power backup for any computer , printer or network system. Donated both to a local mission. I bought eight for surge protection and multi-outlet configuration. These protect everything in my office and my wife's, my CPAP, and our TVs. Convenient for surge protection of recliners in family room and we each have USB & USB C charging ports.
