I absolutely love this little hub. It's got the perfect selection of features for an iPad hub, with the all important headphone jack, 2 full size USB-A ports, PD power passthrough (that still works as a third USB port!) and a 4k --60hz-- hdmi connector. It also doesn't hurt that this one feels better-priced than many of its competitors in this category. It is true that this hub doesn't include an SD card reader, but for my needs it is worth it to carry a small USB C card reader as well simply because this hub works so well for me. This works shockingly well with the Ipad Pro. The USB port takes a thumb drive and instantly gives you access to your files through the FILES app. The headphone jack lets you listen to movies or music on an old pair of headphones. You can charge the Ipad while using these features. I haven't used the HDMI port yet, but am assuming it will work just as well. It is functional but the connection to the iPad is a little week. Constantly concerned that it will get tweeked while connected to the iPad and a cord. Not able to move very easy. Gets the job done but would like to see a short cord with a better connection.

This is a great adapter, it does everything it says and was nearly perfect for my needs. Three USB sold me in it because sometimes I need to switch to my PC's kb and mouse while keeping it attached to my pc as well. I loved the fact that it doesn't dangle off the side although I worried if the pull from all of the cables might eventually damage the USB C port. However ultimately I needed to return this little device because it is so snug against the port (for good reason) that there is no way I can use my case with it, and I'm not willing to remove my case. I am not sure what sheerness and thickness mean so I could not rate them. What I can say is the product works well with my IPad Pro. It’s small enough and fits on the side well. I do which I had ordered one with more ports
