This eyeshadow is not very pigmented (Amber Gem pallet), but its buildable. The swatches on my arm was 3 swipes, for every color. The brushes are packing brushes. So you need to dab the color on in order to get the color you want. Some of these colors do not look flattering on me, but there were a few eyeshadows I did enjoy! Pros: Buildable, affordable, good for beginners, packaging is beautiful. Cons: Wipes off easy, most colors didn't show up on my eyelid, even with primer. (could be different for others) Now, for the other Palette, the colors do show well! You will need to again, build the product but the red/purple and the green/blue show up well! Use a white or light toned concealer to help make the colors pop! Worth the price! It's great for practicing makeup looks! ... show more

I purchased this palette for Halloween because I was planning to do clown makeup and this palette had a large selection of colors. The price is pretty low, so I did not expect the eyeshadow to be great. To my surprise, it exceeded my expectations! The shadows are extremely pigmented!
