This hub does what I need it to do! If I were to order again, I would note that with this model, the USB-C port that is added does not support audio transmission, only power. That may be fine for you. Just a heads up. At peak usage the unit gets a little warm but I have not noticed any drop in functionality.

This is a compact design for a docking station. Does not require any power source and has shown to be compatible with my monitors, keyboard, mouse and external hard drive. Using HDMI and VGA connections for the monitors works equally well. No glitches like I've experienced with other similar docking stations.

Bought to act as a hub for my Dell Latitude laptop. When connecting the 65w Dell charger to the hub, then thru to the laptop USB C charging port, the laptop reports it as a slow charger. My laptop has two USB C ports, so plugging the charger directly into one and the hub into the other works fine, but others may run into issues. Otherwise the hub works fine, outputs to HDMI and works for Ethernet as well.

I really like how compact this device is yet provides superb rapid transfers without a hitch. I was looking both for something to replace my 15 year old tower system that is too slow as well as my 20 year old lap top which barely functions. With a Thompson mini-laptop I have everything I need *AS LONG AS I HAVE THE NOVOO USB C Hub Ethernet 4K@60 USB C HDMI Adapter Multiport Type C Adapter to complete it to full functionality! Surfing the web is not fast easy and easily portable, thanks to Novoo! The ports are clearly marked to differentiate USB 2 versus USB 3. I find it is brilliantly designed! I highly recommend it!

Major problems with this. First, it does NOT do 4K@60Hz. At least not on either of the HDMI ports. No matter what I do, my display only detects a 30Hz signal when using 4K. The hub also constantly goes to sleep and gets disconnected from the laptop. The only way to get the display back on is to open the lid which seems to "wake up" the hub. Very strange behavior. This same setup works fine with a different hub, so I know it isn't one of the other components or cables causing the issue.
