Needing a docking station for my Dell Precision 7730. User guide says this is a supported model. Have connected (2) monitors via HDMI, 4 USB devices, and ethernet cable. These all work great. I have not tried/test the SD card nor the VGA. Only problem, this does not provide power thru the PD port. My laptop charger will charge my laptop directly via the Thunderbolt 3 port, however, if I move the charger to the PD port on this docking station, it does not power through. So I still need to keep my laptop power cord attached. Not a big deal but would have been better for the PD port to function and power the laptop. ... show more

I’ve had this for almost a year, 10 months, and it will randomly disconnect then reconnect multiple times throughout the day. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the device or not. I do wish the usb c cord was longer. It works like a charm even with the disconnects, never had an issue with connecting monitors or devices to it. It’s very easy to use. Update: seller reached out to me after I wrote my review with some troubleshooting options. Unfortunately, they didn’t work, but upon further investigation it looks like my wireless mouse and keyboard combo were causing the issue as once I disconnected the usb dongle and switched to a wired mouse and keyboard it had been working perfectly. ... show more

I really like the size of this unit and all the ports it offers- there's a lot of capabilities it can provide in ideal circumstances. Over the years that I have owned this unit, I have had some issues that have led me to not use it anymore though. I'll share what those issues are- perhaps I have a defective unit possibly. I want to be as fair as possible to the brand. Background 1. I used this device on two laptops and had similar problems so I believe I can rule out the laptop as the root cause 2. once I stopped using device, these issues went away on my latest laptop. Issues 1. My 4K monitor will periodically lose graphics. Sometimes it's only a blip, but sometimes it takes unplugging the device or repowering the monitor to get my screen back. This issue was partly mitigated by plugging a dedicated USB charger to device, but it would still act up. 2. I would get repeated hardware connection notifications (beeps like dozen's actually) which could be verified by looking in Device Manager and seeing all the hardware devices go empty and then repopulate. Again unplugging device solved the problem. This behavior tended to happen in the evening mostly. 3. The final straw happened this week when I was using Teams Video to do a job interview and my laptop slowed to a crawl during this interview. Rebooting laptop didn't solve issue and I had to scrub the interview. This would also happen more often with Zoom as well. Again, once I unplugged the device and routed my HDMI cable directly to the laptop all was well. When I googled Teams video windows performance slowdown, one of the first tips was to skip USB hub and go direct to laptop so my guess is this is more common than even with this unit. Perhaps it's with all these types of devices that use the USB-C port possibly? I'm looking for a job now and definitely can't have my laptop die doing interviews- unacceptable. ... show more

I was looking for a station to use for the three-screen setup in my office. This station is perfect. You will probably need to go into your screen settings to designate what three screens are to be active when in use and you will have to plug your 3rd screen into your computer but did not take long to figure it out.
