I have been buying lap desks for several years that would help me use my laptop comfortably in bed or while sitting on the sofa or in a chair. Until I found this little gem, I had been sadly disappointed. This table was exactly what I needed, and the fact that it can tilt and rise to multiple angles was awesome. It was easy to assemble and it's easy to maneuver. It even has locking wheels so that it won't roll away. My only issue with this table is that, after assembling it, it tends to rock like the wheels aren't level. I've worked on it several times and can't seem to get it right. I broke my ankle and have to have my foot elevated for 6 weeks... Which basically puts a person on their back. With this desk I was able to lay on my couch with my leg elevated and still get a full day of work in. This fits a standard 16.4" laptop perfectly. if you have a larger 18" screen or the like then this will probably still work but your computer will hang off the edge slightly. I also used this at work where I brought in a zero-gravity lawn chair and put my keyboard and mouse on this table and raised my monitors up. A full-size keyboard does not fit completely on the split portion, but it works well enough that I am not bothered by it. Cons: 1) The wheels are cheap and the tab that locks them get's inadvertently activated semi-regularly. 2) The lip that holds your laptop on when you tilt the tray is a little too short and sometimes if I bump it when I'm pushing it out of my way the laptop can fall off. 3) it is sturdy enough for a laptop or the keyboard & mouse but no more weight than that. For the price you pay, it is good enough and a good value - IMO. If the lip kept my laptop on more securely I would have given it 5 stars even despite the wheel issue. The product was exactly as described. It arrived on a timely basis and was easy to assemble. Upon assembly, I noted that one of the wheels was cracked and did not stay on the post. When I contacted the vendor, I anticipated hearing that I could get a replacement from Home Depot or Ace but, instead, the vendor contacted me immediately and shipped replacement wheels without question. I bought this laptop desk about a year ago. I keep just my laptop and my mouse on the desk - and I added a hook underneath so I could hang my headset close by. It was super easy to put together. I personally love the position of the top in relation to the base. It is not long enough to reach over the bed as some people have mentioned, but it does keep my keyboard and screen positioned directly in front of me, and my mouse slightly positioned comfortably to the right. I have not experienced any of the stability issues some have expressed. The wheels are fantastic, and the desk is light enough I can rest the support bar on my shoulder and run my whole set up downstairs to work if I want. I have worked from home for about 7 years - and believe me when I tell you a change of scenery can really help break up the monotony. With this setup I can easily bring my laptop anywhere on the property to work (even downstairs, and I am known for my clumsiness). I can even raise it up to a standing height so I can bring it in the kitchen with me if I am getting dinner started in between tasks at work. It also love the ability to adjust so many aspects of the position in order to be comfortable in any of the locations I choose to bring it. The only complaint I have had so far with it is I wanted to get a second one for my husband; however, my husband is 5'11" and this desk will not adjust high enough to work as a standing desk for him. One of the wheels broke off when I was trying to move the table. Overall it’s good table but now I can’t use it because one of the wheels broke which makes the table wobbly. Bummer since I only purchased this a few weeks ago.

The tabletop fasters dig in your legs when adjusted to hold a laptop and mouse. Very uncomfortable. If you are very skinny up may be okay, but 130 pounds or more the laptop is too high or digs into your legs. Didn't need something pricey and highly ergonomic. The use case for this rolling stand: rolls smoothly on hardwood floor; easy to use (short enough) while sitting on a sofa; base (including wheels) low enough to the floor to slide underneath the sofa separately adjustable surfaces for laptop and mouse; reasonably easy to assemble. On the last point, some reviews cited assembly difficulties or parts that didn't quite fit together easily, but I encountered no issues and had it all ready and rolling in a short time. If I have any criticism, it's that the locking nuts that tighten the clamps designed to hold the desired 'tilt' of both surfaces don't tighten enough to keep the surface at the angle you desire. It's rather too easy to push up or down and I find myself readjusting fairly often. But I don't want to overtighten those handles and possibly break or strip them. ... show more
