This is not the perfect over-the-bed desk. For me, it's a little "short" for that (not height, but how far it extends over the bed), and the wheels are a bit flimsy. However, for the price it is a very solid buy, and I would recommend! I liked that I could adjust both the "main" laptop section and the smaller mouse/projector section individually in tilt, and that was one of the reasons I picked this model. In addition I have found that there are also clips to act as "cord keepers" along the underside spine, which is a nice detail, and that it has crude "stabilizing screws" to offset the arm tilting under weight when fully extended (I have a fairly heavy 18 inch gaming laptop). Crude... but effective! I've only had it one evening, but other than having to be more on the edge of the bed than I prefer, it worked very well for allowing me to use my laptop in bed without being "trapped" under the weight and cords of the lapdesk I have been using. Worth it.

This lap desk is decent. It's relatively quick and easy enough to assemble. It really isn't the sturdiest of things though. It tends to want to sag off to the side if you use it at a tilt, which was one of the reasons I purchased it. So, you have to fiddle around with the adjustments frequently while you are using it to prevent that sagging. It's ok if you are sitting right there using it, but I would never leave a laptop or anything else sitting on it unsupervised for any length of time for fear that it will slide right off. If the desk is sitting perfectly flat, it will hold that position with no problems whatsoever. I very much like that it is adjustable. The wheels work quite well. It folds and stores easily( another reason I bought it).

I got this for my wife and she loves it. She has an iPad and I have a laptop. We like to watch our own programs in the evening and this makes it easy. I modified mine by drilling a hole at the height she likes and inserting a steel pin. That allows her to simply swivel the tray out of her way when she gets up. It's easy and cheap to do.

This is the same write up for 3 similar products. This one especially doesn't clamp tight enough to remain in the position wanted. I purchased 3 different types of wheeled tables like this one. All turned out to be difficult to assemble, had less than adequate wheels for the size of the table and moving between hard floor and carpet and never could go under my couches which was my mistake in measuring wrong. But they take up too much room and for a person post-surgery afforded poor every day use abilities. I was most taken back by the poor quality and lack of craftsmanship but then everyone thinks we still get what we pay for ... need to rethink what we're accepting these days. This and the 2 other similar products are a reflection of this. But where to find better, similar products is sometime elusive.

I bought this to use in bed. I'm writing a book and like to write in bed when I first wake for an hour. I was using the laptop on my legs, but I got tired of that. This desk works great as a desk if you sit at it. It can be a little awkward in bed if the wheels get stuck under the feet of the bed If the desk gets perpendicular to the base of the desk, it can get a little tipsy; avoid that. All desks of this type probably have this issue to be wary of. The frame is made of metal, not plastic. I'm satisfied with this purchase.

First I want to say this....This item is made all of metal and I mean secure metal. Not flimsy stuff. I needed to make my laptop have a work station. I power sell and my shop is online. Second I needed something for upstairs where I do most of my work. But wanted something that would move around easily but still be sturdy enough to hold my laptop and mouse. If your looking for a private work station that can fit under beds, tables, couches, etc. This is IT. I also wanted to purchase another for downstairs. Where I don't necessarily do work but I would like to be on my laptop. So I will be purchasing this one again. It was put together in less than 40 minutes. Its adjustable and the top section tilts to whatever angle you need. It also has bars at the bottom to hold the laptop and mouse from sliding. In this day and age of rising costs and a lot of people working from home. This is by far the best thing I have purchased for my business. This is it.....THE BUCK STOPS HERE.

This is a nice little laptop desk that does support a laptop (or other things well. My only complaint is the caster are not made well at all. The wheels have broken off of one side of two of the 4 casters. Just broke off while being rolled around. I'm not sure if you can buy more casters to replace the broken ones and each still has one wheel so it is still working, but these casters are pretty flemsy. They're quite small, the wheels are quite thin plastic and they're just not made all that well. I'd have gladly paid a couple dollars more for better casters as the rest of the table is quite sturdy and well made in my opinion. If you need a low cost table, I would recommend this but be aware that the casters might not last for you.
