Description

The minimum depth required to mount blind is 1 1/2 inch. The minimum depth required for flush-mounting is 3 inch. Our blinds are crafted with high quality components including high profile steel head rail and quality PVC foam slats. Our blinds resist heat and humidity, and are great for all indoor areas including the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. Installation instructions, a 3 1/4" decorative valance, valance clips, a tilt wand mounting brackets, and screws are included. Valance returns or ending corner valances are NOT included. Mounting screws provided are best for drywall or sheetrock only. They are not for concrete or metal surfaces.

The media could not be loaded. Originally ordered a size too big and used - recommend measuring properly and maybe going a size down from what you expect to fit. Easy to install with a drill (run a pilot hole first!!) and some patience. Has a little light leakage but not a dealbreaker for me at all. Super sturdy and sharp white paint look. Bought the US Window And Floor 2" Faux Wood 35" W x 60" H from the Amazon Warehouse store. I only needed one to replace my 16 yr old garage unit. This product has a metal header and metal brackets. The header didn't fit the old brackets since it is heavier duty than my original one, but still easy to install if you have installed some before. The slats are also thicker. The rod inside header (controls tilt) is metal. This is the second one I tried, my first was from dez, and the header was plastic and the brackets were also plastic. Returned it. This is made in Vietnam. If you only need a small quantity then try shopping in the Amazon Warehouse for a bargain. My unit looked brand new. ... show more

For the money, these are nice looking blinds. I bought these blinds last year in another size to replace those awful small slat cheap plastic blinds that were in the window when I moved in. These are far better quality and provide better privacy. They are not, however, as good of quality as real wood blinds. They are, however, much cheaper. Regardless, they do look nice and I noticed after I put them up, the homeowner across the street from me changed out his blinds shortly afterwards. It really makes a difference visually both inside and from the street. A few things. Take them out a few days before hanging them up. They smell like an oil refinery, which is a little disturbing. Fortunately, they off-gas pretty quickly. Also, directions are terrible. Do your best. Once the first one goes up, you find your stride. The brackets are quite hard to get open. Find the side that opens, and press in on that side while you pull the bracket open. They are difficult to open. Lastly, for no particular reason, there are four holes for each bracket but only 6 screws. It's probably enough to have three on each side but I personally find that a little cheap on their part. Be sure you predrill the holes and that you are getting those screws into wood framing to prevent the brackets from coming out. On the plus side, these hang from the sides of the window sill and not the top of the window sill like cheap blinds, and this makes them infinitely easier to hang in my opinion. Overall, they're cost-effective and look nice. Not great, but definitely a nice improvement visually and functionally to what was previously there. ... show more

I’ve purchased four of these for my parents home. I plan to buy some more for other family members. They have used fabric curtains almost their lives and thought blinds were too expensive to buy. I figured I’d take a chance and try these because the price is reasonable and the “open box” option is ideal for me since I’m on a budget. Note: I had some issues with the first set of blinds we bought because the measurements were off, but I was able to returned them and get another one that worked and fit perfect. Set up: all you need is a drill. I chose to not use the screws that came with the set because they looked a little cheap (aluminum) and instead used some other steal ones I had laying around (personal preference). The entire process took approximately 15 minutes for each window. The hardest part is taking down old blinds, cleaning your windows, and snapping on the last decorative part that cover up the bracket. Overall although fake wood, it looks durable and sturdy and does not look cheap at all. They look like custom made blinds that I’ve seen elsewhere. Feeling greatful these are an option & I can revamp my parents home. Tip: the pre set sizes are great but feel free to size down as instructed because the mounting will eat up some space. I took a chance and bought a used set. They’re perfect. They work as they should and are much better than the small plastic ones sold in stores. I will be purchasing more as I’m trying to put them throughout the house. I have pets and a kid so these will be much better.
