It is well constructed and was packaged so no damage could be done during the shipment. The only thing I would change is the interior color of the lampshade. It is a very stark white against the antique gold on the outside of the shade. These shades look so elegant on my bedside lamps! They allow just the right amount of light to read by, but diffuse it enough that we can wind down from the day. The price cannot be beaten and shipping was fast. Both shades and the harps I ordered at the same time arrived within 7 days damage free.
