I prefer to use lightweight powder instead of heavy foundations as a personal preference. This powder is really nice. I find that it helps to blur imperfections. It also really helps to cut shine, which is a concern for me. The case itself feels substantial and high-quality. I chose the wrong shade for my skin, but that is my own mistake. My new Urban Decay all nighter ghosting powder is marvelous! But I don’t use it as directed. I love this product as a blush and eye shadow when I go out. I am blonde and need more color of my face at night, or I truly look like a ghost. The high quality is superb, the case is very protective, and the product goes on really well with my makeup brushes. And it stays on until I take it off at night. The color, translucent deep, is exactly what I wanted. I attached a picture of my older blush and my new urban decay. Yes, a similar shade, but the one on the right is lighter than my new, preferred, urban decay all nighter. The application is super easy, as I mentioned, with my two natural hair brushes. And the coverage is great. The product is made in Korea, and the package states it uses is freeze-dried technology. I don’t know what that means, other than they don’t use talc. I did not need to set this powder with any setting spray or additional powder, and I am very, very pleased. The value is terrific, as it will last a long time for me. This urban decay all nighter ghosting face powder locks my makeup in very well. It effectively cuts shine except where I put highlighter on top of it (which is what I want of course). It gives a very matte, velvety finish. It lasts all day too. It's easy to apply, but you have to make sure to apply it fairly evenly because it actually has quite a bit of color to it despite being billed as translucent, so you can look patchy if you don't apply it evenly. I use a fluffy brush and that works well for me. The coverage is light, though still more than I was expecting for a finishing powder, but I like it. My blush and highlighter also apply on top of it very nicely despite being cream and liquid-based. I think it does a good job of blurring, reducing shine, and locking down my foundation, so I'm very satisfied with it. The value is what I expect from prestige brand makeup - not cheap, but an effective product. I see enough value to repurchase. ... show more

Yummers! Delish soft coverage that applies like a dream. I have to admit that I’m an Urban Decay fan, so I might be biased, but who can blame me with the consistent terrific performance from all of their beauty products?! This Ghosting Powder does exactly what you’d hope for in a delicate setting powder: it provides a gentle soft-focus finish to your makeup lewk and extends a polished face for the whole night (and even into the morning, just in case you’re having a lot of fun—it won’t let you down!). Urban Decay does a nice job of offering a range of colors for various skin tones, and the lightweight finish means that your true hue shows through. Very good stuff. This applies easily and lasts a long time. I especially love that this powder doesn’t dry my face out or make my sensitive skin feel tight. Impressive. I really like this Urban Decay All Nighter Ghosting Face Powder overall! One thing that did surprise me, though, was the shade. When I purchased it, the listing described it as a translucent powder, but the shade I received actually has noticeable color to it and is much more like a light bronzing or tinted powder. Because of that, it is not quite the shade I would typically choose for an all-over setting powder. That said, the actual formula is really nice. It goes on incredibly smoothly and does a great job of blurring the appearance of pores and evening out the look of my skin without looking cakey or overly powdery. I was also impressed with how long-lasting it is. My makeup stayed looking fresh for a good amount of time, and the powder feels lightweight and comfortable on the skin. Because this particular shade has more color than I expected, I find that a little bit goes a long way for me. I have to use a lighter hand than I normally would with a translucent setting powder, but when applied sparingly, it gives my skin a nice, smooth, polished appearance. I could definitely see this being used as an everyday powder foundation for someone who finds the shade to be a good match. Overall, I really like the texture, pore-blurring effect, smooth application, and staying power. My biggest issue is simply that the product was represented as translucent but is actually more of a tinted/bronzing shade. If you are looking for a powder with some coverage and color rather than a truly translucent setting powder, this could be a great everyday option. ... show more

I have oily skin, and this ghosting face powder has been nothing short of amazing! It doesn’t come with a sponge, so I did have to buy one for this product. I could have used a brush, but I feel like a sponge works better for me. This does provide more coverage than I was expecting, so I feel like I don’t even need foundation sometimes. I apply this once, sometimes twice a day, and it takes away the shininess off my face, giving it such a nice, matte finish. The powder is lightweight and a smooth texture. I also love the look of the compact! It is stunning and it makes me smile every time I look at it. Major props to the person that designed this entire product!
