This is my most favorite mascara. Love the Chocolate color as I feel black is too dark for my coloring. It is quite often out of stock at Ulta, so I was glad Amazon has this available. It really give me length and volume over other mascaras that I have tried.

I recently bought this a 2nd time. The quality is great and it applies easily. I do however also follow applying this product with another mascara by Elf (VERY affordable) that separates the product on my lashes a bit more. The extra Elf application probably wouldn't be needed by most people, but I have next to zero lashes, so using both seems to help. I buy the small size because it's less expensive to replace it before it actually runs out, and I replace the Elf product at the same time. I had a terrible eye infection a long time ago, and my eye doctor recommended replacing mascara once a month. ... show more

I love this mascara. I admittedly do not love it and find it quite clumpy for the first 10 uses or so, but after that I’d absolutely perfect.

I recently tried this two faced brown mascara and was really impressed with the volume it gave my lashes. The brown really gave my eyes a lighter look which I liked. It built up nicely without clumping, and the applicator was well-designed, making it easy to coat every lash evenly. The formula felt lightweight and comfortable throughout the day, and I experienced very little flaking, which is always a plus. Overall, I do recommend it because the quality of the mascara itself is great and it delivers on volume and wear. However, I do think it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. While I enjoyed using it, I’m not sure the results fully justify the higher price point compared to other more affordable options. So this is more of a splurge than anything First pic is no mascara, second if after a couple layers of mascara and the third pic is at the end of the day with little flakes ... show more

I used to just buy whatever mascara I felt like buying and then I tried this a few years ago and now this is the only mascara I buy. I don't even try any other ones that come out new because this one is so amazing and it covers all my lashes and it just makes them look so nice and long and separates and like I like. Not sure what the hype is about. The mascaras is nice but not much different than a $10-$12 mascara. It also flakes by the end of the day. Will not repurchase.

Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara has been my go-to favorite mascara for a long time. I’d been eyeing this chocolate version, but was hesitant to try it because in the ad pics, color appeared to be a milk chocolate brown on the model’s lashes & I wasn’t sure if I’d like that or not. I finally decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! The mascara is not the milk chocolate brown color when applied to the lashes, but more of a dark espresso brown. (And for the record, my lashes are naturally light blonde.) This makes the color appear very natural. It emphasizes the lashes a lot without being quite as dramatic as a black mascara- giving a look that is appropriate for work or going out in the evening. The formula seems to be the same as the original Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara- it’s buildable, volumizing, and lengthening. It says put all day (no issues with raccoon eyes) and doesn’t flake. It comes off easily with makeup removing wipes. I wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes; this mascara doesn’t irritate my eyes at all.
