I was initially going to return the fridge because it arrived with a dent on it, which I now realize is a problem for approximately 90 percent of customers. Before I contacted the company about returning it, I wanted to test how cold it kept things, so I waited 24 hours before plugging it in (the suggested time is 4 hours). I like my drinks very cold -we only use it for soda and water- so after setting the thermostat at the suggested 3 for a few hours, we turned the thermostat up to 5. Several hours later I took a drink from a newly opened can and was shocked, and delighted that there was a little bit of slush. We decided to turn it down to 4, but now, when I want something extremely cold, almost frozen, I turn it up to 5, put a can in the door (it seems to be colder there), and a few hours later I have a very refreshing drink waiting for me. I contacted the seller via Amazon about the dent and they offered me a fair enough refund amount to justify keeping it, especially considering how well it works. This review is NOT based on the refund, nor was I asked to give a positive review! I would feel the same way about it and leave a positive review whether I paid full price or not. Only draws about 55 watts when cycling so can be run off solar panel/ solar generator. A 600 watt generator will operate for 20 plus hours since it is only drawing power a few minutes each hour. Paint is OK, not great so beware of scratches. Update: After more than a month, I realized the entire metal surfaces were covered by a plastic film with "sticky" on the inside. I spent about 1/2 hour peeling it all off. Freezer does work fine. 1-5 control settings with 3 on mine being @40° Fahrenheit inside refrigerator. ... show more

Delivery was fast but the box was covered in laundry detergent for some reason 🙄 but no dents or imperfections it works very well no loud refrigerator noises got cold after on a couple hours I’m very pleased I’m hoping it stays that way. Will give a update review in about a month.

It’s very quiet. I’m very concerned about the back being open I’m not sure if I should take the zip-ties of the black thing. The instructions didn’t mention it. It got cold very fast! Im very happy with the mini fridge I just need more information on how to use it properly.
