    • works great

After using it for a long time it give me about an hour of runtime and it cuts on when the power goes out

    • The internal batteries exploded and stopped working after 1 1/2 years.
Size: 1500VA/900W
The UPS itself works well. The quality and warranty is subpar. I had my UPS plugged in and used as a UPS/backup for my computer which I use on average maybe 10-15 hours per week. It was used for about 1 1/2 years with only about 2-3 power outages. After being used for about 1 1/2 years the battery practically exploded inside of the case. The battery leaked all over the inside of the case and would no longer work. The 1500va/900W UPS is powered by two 9ah/12v batteries. I contacted SKE support and was told I'm out of luck because there's only a 1 year warranty. For the price of $160 you'd think there might be a little bit longer battery or customer support. I ordered two replacement batteries for about $45 and fixed it myself. If the batteries go out again I will be switching brands. ... show more

    • better then others
Size: 1500VA/900W
Have varies brands of ups units, liked cyber power units but last 5 years the charging internal circuits kept dying, had to add 12 vdc charger to each unit to keep running. So far have four of these ups units for last few years and still working fine. Making a convert out of me ! Also the battery changing design is much better and easier ! Companies should redesign units for two pc board modules, one switching, and one charging for long term use and easy fix. Using about 20 ups units now. One bigger mulit unit design would be nice, but makers avoid this nitch, like a boat battery size unit. ... show more

Size: 1500VA/900W
Works well. Achieves the stated battery capacity as nearly as I can estimate. With my NUC and 5g router it runs for a good 3 hours or so. Good value.

Size: 1500VA/900W
Bout the unit as a stopgap during a power outage. I use it to power two lift recliners to keep them powered . It works like a champ.

    • Failed just after warranty ended - inconsistent voltage - very heavy
Size: 1500VA/900W
Just after the 3 year mark it took a dump. Looks like they timed it perfectly, as the warranty has expired recently. It never worked quite right, voltage was uneven across the outlets. It had to be reset after every power outage. Completely silent except when it began supplying backup power. Extremely heavy for its size. ... show more

    • FIRE HAZARD!
Size: 1500VA/900W
I can confirm... bought in July 2024 - now Sep 2026... started smelling plastic over a few days. Used thermal camera to track it down ... it was THIS SKE SK1500 unit... showed 59c or 140 degrees fahrenheit. And it was hosting a computer that was turned off - no use. This would ABSOLUTELY be a FIRE hazard. SO glad I discovered it. BE AWARE! ... show more
