    • Nice looking and comfortable, with some minor flaws

These chairs are not bad so far. They feel sturdy, they look decent, and they were relatively easy to assemble. They are also more comfortable to sit in than I expected, which is after all what a chair is for. They have a wood look, but it is fairly obvious that they are metal. This is great for durability, but not so much for style. The cushions are firm and supportive, and the material is soft. There were some obvious dirty hand smudges on the cushions right out of the package, which appeared to be leftover from manufacturing. There were also a couple dings in the coating on the metal. These were small and inconspicuous, but still unexpected in a brand new, carefully handled item. Everything in the box was wrapped well, but I was surprised about how much unused space and very large, thick pieces of foam were in the box. I think everything was well protected, leading me to believe that the flaws in the coating were, once again, from the manufacturing process. One other gripe I have is that the seat backs have zipper on the underside rather than a stitched seam, and the zipper pull is clearly visible sticking down from the chair back, which makes it look more cheaply made than it needed to look. I'll try to capture all this in photos. Overall, I suppose it is not bad for chairs that average seventy dollars each at the time of this review, but I don't think they are an outstanding value. ... show more

    • Very comfy
These 2 chairs come in a humongous box, secured between lots of foam and all the parts are wrapped up. There are 4 main parts for each chair that need to be assembled. The instructions say to attach the seat first, then the backrest. After working in one chair, I found the second was easier to assemble when I put the backrest on first. However, took me about an hour or so to assemble both chairs because I had a hiccup with one chair where the small piece that screws into one of the legs was getting stuck and not screwing in all the way. I had to ask my husband to use a mallet and force it in. Yikes. Also, when I tried to screw in the backrest, there was a lot of angling that needed to be done to get everything to line up right. Also had some trouble trying to line up the holes in the seat so that it could be screwed in. Just a lot of angling and lining up things I couldn't see very well. But aside from that, I liked the color, and the frame is very sturdy. It looks like wood but it's actually metal, so very strong and can support a lot of weight. I love how they look, and the seats are very comfortable. Lots of cushion on the seat and the back rest. ... show more

I used it to read books and writing instead. The length and the size of the back was very strong to support your back when you are reading book. No surprise that some libraries have this kind of chairs in their reading room as well. Note: make sure the part C and part D connected as the instruction showed otherwise you cannot assemble it. It takes a while to assemble them and the holes were not perfect lined up. It took more time and some extra efforts to screw the back to the metal. The good part is they were sturdy and comfortable when you sit on it. ... show more

    • great
This set of two dining chairs has a clean, modern look with the light gray upholstery and curved backrest. The curved design adds a nice detail while keeping the chairs looking streamlined and simple. The metal legs give them a contemporary style that can work in a dining room, kitchen, or even a small seating area. Overall, a versatile pair of chairs that can fit into a variety of decor styles. ... show more

For some reason my wife and I thought these were linen upholstered but, they have some type of faux leather material. Which is fine they are still nice and with kids easier to clean. We plan to buy linen roll and staple over top will update with photos. Overall strong chair metal really strong and can hold considerable weight. Modern aesthetic would have liked it to be wood, but it looks good. Assembly was fairly quick uses allen wrench but if you have a hex bit and a drill recommend using that took me about 15 minutes to assemble. Overall very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing chair. ... show more
