I bought this sound bar setup to switch from our older bulky 5.1 surround receiver & speakers to something smaller without all the wires & stuff...anyways, for under $75, this sound bar & sub woofer setup actually sounds pretty decent for an inexpensive unit. The volume is quite ample with little, to no distortion at high levels. It doesn't go super loud, but the volume is ample for anyone that may need louder sound due to hearing loss, or just want better quality sound than their tv speakers alone at higher levels. Setup was pretty easy & everything worked fine right out of the box. It took a few tries to figure out how to set up my TV to output the sound to it, but once I figured that out, it's worked pretty much flawlessly. I adjusted the bass down a little to my liking, as it has 3 separate sound styles that you can kind of customize a little with the subwoofer output to your desired bass depth. Overall I'm very happy with it, and for an inexpensive setup, it sounds pretty decent. It's not going to compare to a Bose surround setup, but for under $75, it's great for the price range, and a definite sound quality improvement over just having the speaker output from the tv alone. I would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade on a budget. I'm sure I will miss the true surround sound of my old setup at times for certain movies & such, but this soundbar setup is a great upgrade for little money.

I was honestly surprised by how good this soundbar sounds for such a small unit. The audio is clear and full, and it puts out more volume than I expected. I picked mine up for around $60, and for that price point, the performance is hard to beat. I’m using it in my bedroom, which is roughly 12 by 16 feet, and it fills the room very well. Dialogue is easy to hear, and music and movies both sound balanced without needing constant adjustment. It’s a noticeable upgrade over TV speakers. It’s not a high-end home theater system, but it doesn’t try to be. For a compact, affordable soundbar, it delivers solid sound quality and good value. Overall, this is a great option if you want better audio without spending a lot or taking up much space.
