Works great in my pomoly hot tent. Make sure to start the fire right under the chimney as to get the draft flowing. Watch a few videos on YouTube re the dampers and you'll be set. While not collapsible it is perfect for shorter walks to the campsite. Would not recommend for backpacking.

This stove works great, but pieces of wood must be cut small enough to fit. Additionally, if you want the fire to stay lit all night, you must feed the fire throughout the night.

So far so good, Stove was delivered 2 days ago and I just a chance to fire it up. First impression is that this is a really solid little Stove. It's a windy day here and I was a little worried the long vent stack would cause the stove to turn over but I don't think that's a legitimate worry anymore. Seems very well put together, clean welding, not leaking, and comes with everything you need except for a small low profile ash shovel that will eventually be needed. I'll get that elsewhere. Now, the initial burn that's recommended to burn off that nasty chemical smell...I very much agree. It was frankly nasty smelling and took about 30-40 minutes after I reached a really hot burn, so a little under an hour from unboxing to the smell going away. I'm using oak btw. Very small stove. Should only be used in a very small hot tent. On my first use, the flute must have closed itself and caused a Smokey uncomfortable night constantly getting up to open windows and doors on the tent to air out all of the smoke. Bought this for an 8x8’ framed/insulated hunting shanty. Very impressed with its performance. Hardware all works as it should. Flue is very simple to install & take down after season. I’m burning up to 5” unsplit logs. Can’t wait til after season to cut more for next year!!
