We were looking for a 12 volt cooler for our off grid tiny cabin and the Bodaga 80qt fit our needs perfectly. Space is limited in our cabin and it fit in despite being 80qt. The larger size is a bonus. Being new to 12 volt coolers we were pleased how it kept our food cold over the weekends. Found the appt challenging at first but once installed it made dialing in temps easy. Well made and performs as described. Only flaw we found in the design is the bottle opener on end that hits the back of the hand when lifting the cooler. Removed it and problem solved. 1 yr later UPDATE: installed a 280ah lithium battery with our solar system to operate our12 volt cooler & fixtures at the cabin. Once the system was up and running, we plugged our 80qt cooler in April to keep our food at 30 degrees 24/7 and didn’t turn it off until the end of October. Ran flawlessly! We Still say it is an Outstanding cooler! Kept food perfect. Hardly can hear it run and easy to keep clean. A good cabin addition. Year 3 update: Still an outstanding cooler! Again the cooler was used and working 24/7 from early March to end of October and worked flawlessly. Have found keeping the temp set to 30 degrees keeps everything in good shape, including milk, which has always been a challenge in coolers. I’m not one to write reviews on any product but this product truly needs one! Worth every cent.

I am a truck driver and have used dometic cooler freezers for years. My last one was only 37qts so I thought I would get a larger one the next time. I saw a sale on this unknown brand and thought the reviews are mostly good so I will give it a shot. I received it on Friday read the instructions and followed them to a T. After the 6hrs on a flat surface I started paired and set my temps. I put a test item in the freezer and checked it the next day. Everything looked good. I loaded $300 of frozen fruit and other items. For a couple of days everything seemed fine. I threw away the box on the fourth day. On the fifth day, while out on the road I wake up in the morning for breakfast to find all of my food at room or slightly cooler than room temperature. I am on the phone right now with Amazon. I would not recommend this fridge even if I just got a dude. No-name brands just don't have the credibility. Just buy a name brand one and spend the extra money. With what I have lost with the groceries I could have bought the dometic or ARB better known brands. ****Update**** I must have received a dud. The company and Amazon helped to resolve the issue and so far the replacement is working OK. I'd like to give it more time given my previous experience so I will update it after I use it a bit longer to make sure no issues arise. Excellent customer service.

This product exceeded my expectations. Maybe because I expected the quality to be lower than it was. This thing is a tank. The 2 doors is a great way to keep your iceicles frozen while you get a drink. The directions are easy to follow and straight to the point... Thanks to whoever wrote them! I plugged it into my outlet and turned it on. Within 20minutes the freezer was 5 degrees, and the refrigerator was 36 degrees. I put zip lock bags of ice in the freezer and walked away for 3 hrs. When I came back the ice was frozen solid. I did notice that the frig side is now 28 even though I have it set at 36. Not sure why. Next test is to take it outside in the indirect heat and see how it hold the temp. I'll update this post when I do. The other amazing feature is the retractable handles. Not the kind that break after you've used your cooler a few times. Nope. These handles are metal and well designed. The mechanism is easy to push in on both sides to allow the handle telescope. the wheels roll smooth. Well designed. Sound is pretty quiet so far. So far I would recommend this but I won't know until I get it outside for a camping trip.

This product is terrible. Tested it out for a bit at home with the 120V adapter and it worked fine. I really liked the dual zone as we could put cooler stuff in one and things like frozen breastmilk in the other. About a week into our trip, the smaller of the two zones stopped working. The app made it appear that it was at the fairly impressive -4F which was the set point. After reaching in and realizing that nothing was frozen and just remotely cold, I went to the app and changed from F to C then back to F and it showed that the smaller portion was 50 or so degrees. Looked at the breastmilk containers and they had separated and some had curdled. Fortunately she was able to keep up with pumping and using the refrigerated side, but we were in the middle of nowhere and could have had an issue feeding our child. I've had a much cheaper Peltier device cooler before and even it lasted longer than this thing.

We took this on a 14-day trip during summer with running on 12v dc in the basement of our Motorhome. It worked flawlessly and kept everything at temp. Ran it with the standard configuration of one side freezer and the other fridge. Items like ice cream in the freezer stayed fully frozen and hard. I tried multiple times but the instructions to connect via blue tooth and WiFi did not seem to work. I did a test to see how well insulated it was in case it lost power, or we wanted to take it out. I would not recommend treating it like an ice chest of sorts once unplugged. It warms up fast. If it will be without power for more than 20min or so it is not going to be a good solution. Excellent for our use case. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the blue tooth issue. It requires you to connect to WiFi first and I could not make it broadcast anything with the button combinations it states.
