I like the extendable handle and the wheels which make it easy to move around. I like how easy it is to switch lid orientation from one side to another in less than 10 seconds. The LED light inside each compartment is a very nice touch. Beware: The product manual says you need to let the cooler sit horizontally for 6 hours after receiving it before you plug it in but doesn't say why. Does this mean it needs to be stored horizontally and not on end? You need a Wifi internet connection to set up the Bluetooth app, which seemed odd but the setup worked ok on my Android phone on the first try. The freezer temperature actually hits -4F but doesn't stay that cold. After testing continuously for a week, I noticed that the temperature climbs to as high as +4F before going back down. At a constant temperature of 82 deg F in the shade, the cooler draws 55 watts on AC power with the large section set at 34 deg F and the small section set at -4F. I used an aquarium thermometer inside each compartment to check the accuracy of the cooler and the app temperature settings. In spite of locking the controls with the 'lock' button on the app, my cats have shut off the cooler and changed the temperature multiple times during testing by lying with their feet over the control panel. I did not see a lock feature on the control panel. The product ships with NO information on the solar port. A small external battery is shown attached to a solar panel in some marketing literature on the website but no details are provided on how to hook it up. The Bodega web site shows a couple different solar panel setups but NO information is provided. Trying to get information from Bodega Customer Service is very difficult, perhaps due to language issues between Chinese and English. After several back and forth emails, we have determined the solar port size is 5.5mm x 2.1mm. I am still trying to get voltage and amperage ratings. June 2025 Update: I was never able to get voltage or amperage ratings, I just gave up asking. I have a Renogy folding 200W portable solar panel and a VMAX 155Ah deep cycle battery that I'm eager to hook up and test once I find out enough details to safely do so. I will update this review as I receive more information. October 2024 Update: I originally purchased this for hurricane food safety. After initial testing, the product sat unused for a year. Tried to use it recently to save food in frig and freezer from Hurricane Milton. Cooler temperature never went under 67 deg F. Lost all the food. Very sad. March 2025 Update: I contacted Bodega Customer Service to see how to get the freezer repaired or replaced. After several emails they determined the power module is faulty and they would send me a new power module from the factory. May 2025 Update: After hearing nothing for 2 months I contacted Bodega Customer Service again to find out where my repair parts might be. They told me the parts had not been sent yet and they would keep urging the factory. June 2025 Update: The part is finally on its way and Customer Service would now like me to give them a 5-star review for their awesome service. hahaha Congratulations for reading this far. I suggest you buy a different brand or you will likely end up with problems.

I am a truck driver and have used dometic cooler freezers for years. My last one was only 37qts so I thought I would get a larger one the next time. I saw a sale on this unknown brand and thought the reviews are mostly good so I will give it a shot. I received it on Friday read the instructions and followed them to a T. After the 6hrs on a flat surface I started paired and set my temps. I put a test item in the freezer and checked it the next day. Everything looked good. I loaded $300 of frozen fruit and other items. For a couple of days everything seemed fine. I threw away the box on the fourth day. On the fifth day, while out on the road I wake up in the morning for breakfast to find all of my food at room or slightly cooler than room temperature. I am on the phone right now with Amazon. I would not recommend this fridge even if I just got a dude. No-name brands just don't have the credibility. Just buy a name brand one and spend the extra money. With what I have lost with the groceries I could have bought the dometic or ARB better known brands. ****Update**** I must have received a dud. The company and Amazon helped to resolve the issue and so far the replacement is working OK. I'd like to give it more time given my previous experience so I will update it after I use it a bit longer to make sure no issues arise. Excellent customer service.

We took this on a 14-day trip during summer with running on 12v dc in the basement of our Motorhome. It worked flawlessly and kept everything at temp. Ran it with the standard configuration of one side freezer and the other fridge. Items like ice cream in the freezer stayed fully frozen and hard. I tried multiple times but the instructions to connect via blue tooth and WiFi did not seem to work. I did a test to see how well insulated it was in case it lost power, or we wanted to take it out. I would not recommend treating it like an ice chest of sorts once unplugged. It warms up fast. If it will be without power for more than 20min or so it is not going to be a good solution. Excellent for our use case. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the blue tooth issue. It requires you to connect to WiFi first and I could not make it broadcast anything with the button combinations it states.

I received the cooler but had to wait 24 hours before plugging it in. The delivery driver delivered it on its end. Knowing this and the fact that the cooler has a compressor, I had to wait out the 24 hours before plugging it in. I bought this for my suburban SUV for travel. We travel every few weeks, so this is going to really come in handy without having to use ice. I got to plug it in my SUV today. It took about 20 minutes for the cooler to go from 87 degrees down to 50 degrees (it's very hot here in Texas right now). I really like being able to reverse the lids, as I had to do that for where it will sit in my SUV. The pull-out handle is very convenient, and I love that it has wheels. I haven't downloaded the app yet, so I cannot review that at this time. I am hoping that I can find an insulated cover for the cooler, as this will keep things colder longer and keep the power from kicking on as often. I have contacted the manufacturer to see if they make it, but I'm still awaiting a reply. They do make the cover for the smaller coolers, but I cannot find it for the 80 quart. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would purchase again.
