I was worried from some reviews that this belt would be too long as the replacement. I actually contacted Liftmaster and received a free replacement belt that I tried to use instead of this one. The one sent to me from Liftmaster ended up being too short and I couldn’t use it. Installed this belt and it fit perfectly. Been using it now for a few weeks and no problems. Highly recommend as a replacement.

Chamberlain LiftMaster Pro Formula 1 (mid-2000s) 7 foot door opener here. This combination calls for p/n 41A5434-11A. This belt had me questioning my sanity. The belt is correct in every way except they are manufacturing them 1 1/2" too long. The correct OEM part number 41A5434-11A part is 233 3/8" in length, excluding the links for installation. I set up a return of this item and instead ordered Amazon SKU B0CLF158LQ, which shows the same OEM part number and it fits perfectly. Hopefully this helps another shopper who runs into this issue!

I have a Chamberlain Liftmaster Formula 1 garage door opener (Model 2280) and 7' garage door. This belt is *supposed* to fit my opener. It turns out it is too long. I put on the belt and it was sagging by about 6 inches even when fully tightened. I took it down and compared it to the old one, and it was about 3-4 inches too long. So, I had to remove the connector by deforming the back with a flathead screwdriver and hammer, with the connector in a vise. This took some effort. I started with a very small flathead to get under the metal, then took a larger flathead to bend it backwards. I finally got it off and cut off about 7 teeth from the belt using tin snips (the belt is tough to get through, which I guess is a good thing). I reassembled it and put it back on the garage door opener, and it was still too long. I ended up having to cut off 3 more teeth. Then I reassembled the belt connector and put the belt back on. It's probably still even a bit long, but I was able to get it to work after the second cut. I still have no idea why a so-called standard belt was too long for my set up. I have a large 3-car garage and I don't live in some 100+ year old house. The garage door openers were built in 2004. It's a head scratcher. And, as happens way to much, the promised easy to install turned into a major project.

Purchased for my Chamberlin garage door opener. Verified the 20 by 6 groves, Install was easy and the belt fit perfectly after adjusting the tensioner (not included, but on the old belt).

Unfortunately did not fit my model even tho it stated it would. Had to pry the metal retainer apart and shorten the belt by two inches to make it work. Took an extra 30 minutes, but got it to fit.
