The media could not be loaded. Not sure what happened to this product. I bought one a few years ago and it worked perfect. I love it. I recently bought one as a gift and it’s crap. The plug port is crazy hard to turn and it doesn’t shut off when it gets to temp. It just runs the fan for hours. This is the second one I have had to return, the last one didn’t heat and wouldn’t get to temp. If I could give it no stars, I would. They need to go back to the old style. Plugged it in and ran for 5 to 10 minutes and lost power for over hour due to overheating. It cooled off and turned back on but wouldn’t stay on longer than 10 minutes a time. Return it on the same day I got it. It also appeared to be opened already but not sure.

While this small heater is efficient and puts out a lot of heat, the so-called "remote" is completely bogus and useless! When asked thru Amazon why the remote was not at all making contact with the heater, the seller replied "Not me, ask the mfgr." The Mfgr answered "not me, you better ask the seller." You don't much need a remote anyway, but this was falsew advertising 101! ... show more

Out of the Box the Remote was Battery compartment was assembled Wrong the Battery terminals were bent into the case took screw driver and gently repositioned them so the Batteries would work. First Use Fired right Up had a Horrible smell, Worked great in 10 x 8 ft room and not so Much in larger 22x 24 and open Basement room it does take out the dampness of the Basement space. Unit runs at 375 watts after Bouncing around on startup over 500 watts then settles back down to 375 watts. Things I wish It had current room temp so I can see current room temp and the set temp. Scam ?: it's a scam if you believe the advertised claims and expect a small heater to do Big things What's with All the Names Any Ways ? Given as a gift, was told that it doesn't work very well. Instructions were in Chinese and difficult to understand. Was told it'll only work if the timer is set (othewise it shuts off automatically) and the timer can only be set for a few mins. Also was told that it needs to be unplugged when not in use, which seems to be to be a know safety issue. I think most would forget to unplug it. Was excited at first then disappointed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I didn't even get to use this! The first one I received had a broken plug, the ground prong was loose. So I did a return. I received a new one before I even sent the first one back and was excited. But the same issue with this one. The ground prong is also broke on this one. Right out of the box, and the box was not damaged. Update. The seller reached out and said the 3rd prong was loosened by them and that they losen it so it fits better with US plugs. So I took apart the first one and I guess thier idea of loosened means to break. It's broken on the second one. This has got to be dangerous and for them to take a risk saying this is fine is unbelievable. I'm not by any means an electrician but I'm not going to risk my family and home on this stupid thing or the stupid idea of breaking a prong so it fits in an outlet better. ... show more
