my mom has dementia and is not longer able to walk, she's fallen a few times. It's been a nightmare getting her out of a chair, to the toilet, to bed, in the shower. We've been having to lift her and use a transfer chair provided by hospice. This chair is amazing!! We've been able to get her quickly, easily and safely out of her chair, to the toilet, and even into the kitchen. I would say the only problem being that she has a lift chair, and the wheeled legs won't go under far enough. So she does have to reach a bit to get ahold of the grab bar. We've only used it about 4 times so far today, but we are very impressed, and good grief our backs are so happy.
