We used this product for our new construction home for above the island. The lights supersede in quality for the price. I honestly hated assembling these because the screws are so tiny and are hard to get started. Thankfully I only had 2 of them. We love the adjustable length and that they were so long. As you can see from the photos, the lights look really good in my kitchen! They were easy to install but I have two tips. Firstly both wires are clear so it’s difficult to distinguish which wire should be connected to the neutral wire, and which gets connected to the hot wire. There is very small writing on one of the wires which would indicate that wire is neutral. I AM NOT AN ELECTRICIAN SO PLEASE CHECK WITH A PROFESSIONAL TO CONFIRM THIS INFORMATION. Secondly theo silver wire that comes with the light as the ground wire is very flimsy. At one of the areas where it was bent in shipping the wire had a broken piece from the stress. Once the light is on it is very, very bright. I have a dimmer on mine. You will see the difference in the photos. ... show more

I kept these only because I got rid of my others expecting nice lamps and I was desperate. Will need to buy new shades. Very disappointed!

I bought two in Polished Chrome. They are good size for my high ceiling foyer and stairs and adds just the right amount of shine. I was worried they might look cheap before ordering, but they don’t look cheap at all. They are not too heavy to hang, but looks substantial when installed.
