  • Great Blender
I love this blender. It is easy to operate and makes perfect smoothies every time. I especially like the self-cleaning function. Definitely great value for the price.

  • Makes wonderful smoothies with no foam. Glass container; easy to use. Only uses presettings.
The media could not be loaded. I was a lot more impressed with this than I thought I was going to be. I do own the major countertop appliance whose name rhymes with RightaKix, and I've owned one for decades. That will do a lot this won't, but this makes extremely good, 1 to 3 person smoothies with a lot less mess. It also has a glass container rather than plastic, which I absolutely love. The single serving container is plastic, but the main blender is thick glass. It's essentially an old-fashioned glass blender with a newfangled auto touchscreen and pre established settings. I like it a lot. What it WILL do: allow you to put all your ingredients in, push the button, and wait. The ingredients have to be the right size, and they can't be too hard. You also can't put the entire bag in. Note that as it is blending it pauses about every 10 to 15 seconds. This startled me on the first run, thinking it was broken, but no. It's what it's supposed to do, and you end up with a very light, airy, creamy, well blended smoothie. The texture is wonderful. Critically, it **doesn't create the stupid foam**. I hate that foam! It's always been the worst feature of the expensive blender. I don't know if it's because this pauses along the way or just because the blades are shaped much differently – see picture – but nothing I have made so far has had any foam. That, to put it mildly, rocks. It also crushes ice efficiently and well, although you really can't do more than six cubes at a time. It also does it all without your neighbors being able to tell that you've turned it on. What it WON'T do: deal with large amounts, larger, heavily frozen items, or extremely tough things. Anything that goes in is supposed to be cut no bigger than about an inch thick, and they recommend you let it sit out for a minute to start to thaw. For most smoothies this is no big deal, and I was able to get a little ginger in by cutting it up into slices and then quartering the slices. But it is not for thick things or making ice cream/sorbets. (Note that I watered down the coconut milk in the video.) It also does not heat products, and isn't supposed to run for more than three minutes consecutively in order to avoid overheating. If you overheat it's supposed to wait about a half an hour. Lastly, it only runs on its touchscreen patterns. You can hold down Pulse to make it run, but the minute you lift your finger it stops. You can't just turn it on. So it's really a smoothie maker, not a full professional whatever you call the other one. But I have heard the word "multifunctional" defined as "doing twice as much as you should half as well as you could". As far as I am concerned, this makes better quick smoothies. ... show more

  • Transforming My Mornings with the Blender
Every morning used to be a rush, always grabbing breakfast on the go or skipping it altogether. That all changed when I got the SHARDOR Professional Blender. I was initially drawn to its sleek design and the promise of efficiency, but it quickly became an indispensable part of my routine. Each dawn, I toss in a mix of frozen berries, a banana, and a bit of yogurt into the sturdy 52 oz glass jar. The powerful 1200W motor effortlessly blends everything into a perfectly smooth concoction, providing just the pick-me-up I need. Recently, I tried the ice crush function to prepare a refreshing fruit slush on a warm afternoon, and it worked wonders. The intuitive smart programs make creating smoothies and milkshakes so straightforward, even during the busiest mornings. After blending, the self-cleaning function is a true lifesaver, sparing me from the chore of manual washing. The included 24 oz to-go cup has been a game-changer too, letting me enjoy my creations on my commute without worrying about spills. The SHARDOR blender hasn't just made making smoothies easier; it has revitalized how I start my day, promoting healthier choices with minimal effort. ... show more

  • Mixed jar
I found this blender to be interesting. Rather than the different speeds I am used to, this blender has "settings" that run programs. These programs consist of various mixing and stopping periods over the course of a preset time - no need to manually start/stop the mixing to let ingredients settle. This seems to work well, and makes things easy - as long as the program matches what you actually need, of course. There are also two options for mixing: a large jar, and a smaller "single serve" cup, which makes it more versatile than most blenders. Like all blenders, this one is loud when operating - I found it to be about normal in this respect. One quirk that did bug me a bit: the measurements on the jar are only in liters. I would like to see ounces and cups as well. This is particularly interesting as the description lists the capacities in Oz. Then there is cleaning - they say to clean by pouring "a little warm soapy water into the jar and Select “EXTRACT”mode to enjoy the convenience of hands-free cleaning." This seems to work well enough, at least for the jar itself, which is good considering that it doesn't appear to disassemble - I didn't want to try too hard for fear of breaking it. Overall, at $60 for a blender that includes both a large mixer jar and a smaller single serve cup, if you are looking for a new blender this one is worth considering. ... show more
