These openers are easy to program...but yes you do need to read the instructions and make sure they are compatible with your opener. I love that they have a sliding cover so you do not accidentally trigger the opener from your purse, pocket, or car.

Update: Repair cost me $140. The garage door repairman also could not get the remote to work correctly. When he got it programmed, it threw my door off the cable again. He then put it back on track, pulled out a lift master remote, programmed it immediately & gave it to me because of all the troubles I was having with these. Company reached out after my first review & I told them I would be happy to send them a copy of the bill. Of course they were not interested. Bought this this week & thought this would be a super easy install like the original remote. The instructions don’t work, & when I thought it was actually programmed— the “click” of the garage motor that was supposed to signal a successful programming actually dropped the slack in my cables & then tangled them as the door attempted to go up again. I then had to call the garage door man. Not worth it. This $20 purchase is gonna cost me way more. ... show more
