Seems like decent quality. Unfortunately, the 3M adhesive strip is on the wrong side so you'll need a helper to hold it up while you hammer in the nails. We bought the longer strip and cut it in half in order to do the bottoms of two garage doors. There were enough nails in the package to do about 1/2 of the bottom of 1 door. And the nails have tiny heads so I'm not sure how well they'll actually hold the strip in place. ... show more

I attached it to my garage door bottom and it had a strong adhesion, very hard to remove it so I expect it will last for several years, just make sure it is placed in the right place on the first try

Definitely not a perfect seal by any means, but I’m realizing that it’s because our garage door doesn’t sit flush with the ground. We got this after trying other types of seals to keep mice out of our garage after the forest behind us was cleared out for townhomes, pushing the mice towards us. It’s hard to say if it’s working after a week, because I can see the light through the right side where the garage sits uneven with this on, and I can stick my finger under it. The weather is also warming up, so they have less desperation to seek shelter in my garage. But I think if the garage door were even, it would work as it’s supposed to. The plus side is that we didn’t have to use the nails, and the adhesion worked great. It’s been on for a week and so far so good. If you’re trying to keep dirt and debris out, I think this is a great option, and cheaper from some other ones we bought. But for pest control, I’d say 7/10 for a normal garage and 4/10 for mine.     • Rubber Fine Tape sucks

The product itself is fine. The tape they use is useless. I cleaned and lightly sanded my area with 220 grit. Used a tack cloth then a clean rag with rubbing alcohol let it dry for 2 hours while I tackled a different project then attempted to put it on my door. The tape was very inconsistent in its holding. Some spots awesome can not even attempt to move it. Other places it would not stay adhered. I know my surfaces we clean and prepped properly. My fix was I stamped holes every 2 inches and then made a small 1/8" thick by 1" wide and bolted it to the door. In reality this is the better way to do this. However if you are looking for a lick and stick application I can not recommend this item. ... show more
