My dogs LOVED this “new” way to give them a bath. I massage them both (one had a TPLO) and they know what the word means and they stood still during the whole shampooing process. My concerns are two-fold, leakage and sustainability. The leakage is real, as I left it upside down and it leaked out of the opening where you pour the shampoo. You cannot leave it lying the other way because that is where the four holes are for the shampoo to come out. I will try keeping it on its side next time. The second worry is it is made of silicone but seems quite flimsy. Regardless, it is the best thing I have found in years of being a dog mom that really kept my kids from squirming during the shampooing process, so I would buy another even if this one is not that durable. ... show more

Soap doesn’t come out unless you squeeze it but If you squeeze it the lid pops off quite easily. When you finish washing you dog and lay it down, then the soap decides to ooze out over the next 20 minutes. Maybe it has a use for scrubbing your pup after you apply shampoo by hand, but don’t plan on it dispensing shampoo automatically or the lid staying on while in use. ... show more

The whole scrub is a silicon material besides the plastic hole on top to lock the covor in place. My dog has a bit longer fur as he's shih tzu mix, it's nice to use since he's so dramatic. Good quality for the price. And it works as intended, good for scrubbing without hurting him.
