If You Own a Dyson, Keep a Spare Filter Around

These replacement filters have significantly improved my relationship with my Dyson. If you've ever had your Dyson suddenly stop working because the filter needs cleaning, you know the frustration. The official recommendation is to wash the filter and let it dry completely before using it again, which means you're potentially without a vacuum for at least 24 hours. Somehow this always seems to happen right before guests arrive or when you're trying to get the house cleaned for a holiday. That's why these are so useful. I keep a spare on hand, and when one filter needs cleaning, I can simply swap in a fresh one and keep using the vacuum. Then I can wash the dirty filter at my convenience and have it ready as the next backup. The filters fit properly, work as expected, and to the naked eye, I wouldn't know these weren't original Dyson filters. They look virtually identical once installed. Honestly, the biggest benefit is the peace of mind. Not having to worry about being unexpectedly without a vacuum has been worth the purchase on its own. If you own a Dyson and only have the original filter, I'd strongly recommend picking up a spare set. It makes the whole maintenance process much less annoying.

quick delivery...and I was afraid it may not work or fit, but filter fitted with a tight twist which is good. looks like original and there are always aftermarket items that may not be perfect fit and design. overall is great purchase and my Dyson works again. the pressure fit and sensor are sensitive on Dyson vacuum. overall excited it works and have an extra filter. no more direct Dyson purchase, which I did purchase and will hold for future use.

I wanted to love this item, but unfortunately it did not work for my Dyson V10 Animal. The warning indicator that something was wrong with the filter kept appearing while using this filter. It also did not screw in properly like the original filter, and the vacuum did not suction adequately with it installed. I bought it because my original factory filter was starting to wear out after 4 years of use. I replaced it with a new original Dyson filter, and the machine is now working properly again.
