I bought this opener because I could not get one of a very similar design (also bought on Amazon) to work. I had this one working perfectly in just a minute or two. That was possible because the instructions were very clear and very accurate. The only issue I had was that it came with a dead battery. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating.

Purchased these for my new Chamberlin garage door opener. Took about 2 minutes to set them up and they work at least as good as the ones that came with the opener. They appear to be well built by their weight and not plastic. Hopefully they will last for this incredible price. Recommended

Dip switch programming is the opposite

Someone else mentioned this in their review and I'm glad they did. I have a stanley opener from around 1990 and it has 10 dip switches. The instructions for this say to punch in 1 or 2 for each (binary on off switch) depending if it is up or down. There's even a photo. I did that twice, it didn't work. I reversed what I thought and did the opposite, 2 instead of 1, and it worked perfectly. Just fyi for others. Now I just have to install it on the wall and I'll be in business. Good luck! I used the letter opener to pry out the battery. The one it came with was dead.
