Not bad, i had my gmrs radio shoved under my seat, flopping around and the chord was kind of short. Its got controls in the mic so i can hide the base anywhere. I actually used this to mount it under the dash instead in my jeep jl. Allowing me to just have the mic in the open. If you’re looking for a clean, professional way to mount your CB or GMRS radio in your Jeep without drilling holes into your dash, this is the one. I installed this on my passenger side center console, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Why This Mount Wins: OEM Look & Feel: It fits the contours of the JL/Gladiator console perfectly. The mount is made of thick metal, very sturdy and high quality. My unit arrived with a scratch on the paint, but it is covered up by the radio once installed. The installation on my 2023 Jeep Gladiator was easy and the instructions that came with it are clear and have pictures to aid with the install. It fits very well and tight to the center console, so it doesn't interfere with the passenger's legs. The backside of the bracket even has a pad to protect the center console and avoid rattling. I like that there are mounting holes for the radio microphone, though the holder is not included. I was able to mount my Midland MXT275 to this bracket, but I did need to drill an extra hole into the mount in order to complete the install. I also like that you can easily remove the mount by hand using the supplied wingnuts when not in use. Over all, a good product and I am happy with it and good value.

The mount came quickly and arrived in good shape. The kit includes a base to mount to the Jeep's existing hole, a base plate, a vertical plate, and the associated hardware to attach it. The method of quick detach is via a pair of bolt/washer/wingnut fasteners that are easy to put on and take off. The quality of the steel on the mount is very sturdy, and feels like it could take a good beating. The paint is nothing special, but that is not a slight against it at all. It's simple and effective, which has the added benefit it could be easily touched up with a rattle can spray job later after use. The mount measures roughly 6 inches wide, by 5 inches tall on the mounting area. The quality of the product overall for the money you pay is very good, and if you need a radio mount for your Jeep JL I do recommend this product. It will fit a variety of CB, GMRS, or Ham radios.

I picked this up for my Jeep and it’s exactly what I needed for adding a CB setup for off roading. I've used this Universal CB Radio Mount with both my Yaesu ham radio and my Midland GMRS radio at different times, and it has worked flawlessly for both. Installation is very easy, and the mount sits nicely on the passenger side of my center console. The bracket feels very solid—no wobbling or movement even when driving my Jeep on rough terrain. Switching between radios is quick and convenient thanks to the design, and removing it is just as simple. The instructions are straightforward, and all the necessary hardware is included. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and I’ve had no issues at all. The price is also reasonable compared to other radio mounts on the market. Highly recommend!
