I had bought blinds exactly like these from another seller and loved them but my granddaughter broke some of the slats & it was looking trashy so I needed to replace the one and unfortunately the seller I got from on amazon was sold out of the size & color I needed so i searched & found these they are the exact same and like $10 cheaper which is good im a single mom and times are hard. Definitely like these shades. Very easy to install. They have a strong hold and will stay in place. I wasn't sure if I would like them but they are good quality. They do block the light. I would recommend them they are a quality shade. I appreciate the ease of installation.

The media could not be loaded. Shades broke within 12 months and seller refuses to offer help other than a 8% discount on new shades. I was thrilled about these no drill shades and installed them in a decorative window where I only would have to use them occasionally. Initially everything looked fine but then the problems started: * The blinds would get harder and harder to pull down, while initially smooth and easy to adjust, eventually they became so difficult to lower than the handle / clip that come with it comes off ever time I pull on it now. I have to hold the blind and pull it down. * The holding mechanism does not stay put, the blinds now shift when I lower them. * As of a week ago, the blinds cannot be raised properly anymore. It takes multiple attempts and they get stuck in the middle. They are now useless to me. All of these issues started after using them for only a few days since I do need them lowered for this window on a regular basis. When I contacted the seller, they ignored the fact that 1 year is not a typical lifespan for window blinds and jumped to the fact that the 1 year warranty had just ran out by a mere few days. This is what bad customer service looks like. Unishades is selling a poor quality product and here and hopes that you don't notice - well at least not for 12 months. ... show more
