We are in the Carolinas near the beach, so needless to say it gets pretty hot in the summer. This film does an excellent job of keeping the heat out of the house. I have a home office that has two window that face directly at my neighbors windows, so I wanted a way to get some natural light without forgoing privacy. While the film is not completely opaque (there are pieces of the leaves and petals that are almost completely see through), it still provides much more privacy that I would have had otherwise. The pieces that are see-through also have a pit of distortion to them that make it harder for someone to get a solid view. The best part of this set is the fact that it comes with everything that you need for installation. The only thing you'll need is some kind of card (they recommend a credit card) for when you cut away the excess. I have bought other static films that didn't come with anything, so the fact that this comes with everything you need is incredibly convenient.

It really breaks up the sun's light into the spectrum nicely. It also came with some tools to properly install it. Very nice!

Nice quality window film. Installation is the same as installing window tint - super easy, you just have to be diligent. It is a bit harder to get the bubbles out only because the film is textured, but nothing too bad, just gotta put extra pressure when getting rid of bubbles. It does give some sense of privacy in the way that frosted glass does. Our favorite part is how it makes the sunlight look when it shines through the window.
