Love the pattern on our new area rug and it looks as good in person as the pictures. We just moved 500 miles away into a new townhouse that the walls were freshly painted a medium shade of grey with dark gray trim, and the floors are a wood laminate in a shade of light grey, so this rug goes perfectly with the other decor. Others complained about the rug being folded upon arrival leaving deep creases in it when unfolded. Mine wasn't too bad because due to it's size (8ft by 12ft) because it came rolled, BUT... they didn't take care in rolling it smooth. Parts of the rug at each end had folded (overlapped) over on itself while the rolling was still in process causing deep creases about 2 feet in length. The creases at one end worked out with walking on it, and due to the rugs own weight, while the other end that gets much less foot traffic still has some small creases a month later. I had no problem getting the curled ends to lay flat when I first unpacked it. I rolled them the opposite way a few times then stretched them and they were flat within 24 hours. For the price you can't beat the look and quality. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I'm so completely thrilled with this rug. It's a quality product and an excellent deal for $200 - 9x12 is a lot of rug! The fold along the vertical half was a little annoying when it was first unrolled (see photo), but the fold and rug edges settled completely within a week or so. We've been using it for five months, and it still looks brand new. In my opinion, this rug is a particularly excellent choice for a dining room or other environment where much of it will be covered. The design is gorgeous but very busy; I think I'd get tired of it if I saw the full design consistently. The contrast and symmetry are perfect under a large dining table, adding texture and interest without overtaking the room. The tone of grey has the perfect amount of warmth to be cozy yet remain a "neutral" in the room's palette, so you can get away with this striking rug while still being able to play with other colors in the environment - purple tablecloth? why not! Looks great with our walnut floors (grey undertones) and barely-grey walls (Behr Silver Drop). With three cats and two kids under 2, I also appreciate how easily it wipes clean, and the pile is the perfect thickness to be soft under foot but vacuum easily without collecting fur. I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat.

I love the design and I love that the rug is thin since it is under our dining room table and I want to be able to easily vacuum up food. We've had the rug laid out for almost 5 months now and it still isn't completely flat. There are still some bubble and ripples in a few places but since we don't use our dining room on a daily basis and it is mostly hidden by our table I'm not really upset. For the price I paid the quality is actually nicer than I expected!

Just unrolled it and it's super nice. The edges are rolled from how it's shipped but can easily be fixed with some weight. Beautiful and thick.

The main image shown is a bit misleading. In the photo the dark areas look almost black and the rest a medium gray. In actuality the dark areas are a medium and the rest almost light gray. I ACTUALLY LIKE IT BETTER THIS WAY. But if you're looking for the dark/light contrast shown in the main photo you will be disappointed. This is a beautiful rug that we're still after one week waiting for it to flatten out. A 200 lb dining table hasn't been enough. I've tried rolling the edges under so they stop curling up. The only thing I haven't tried is shampooing the rug. Since this is the only rug we have there's no shampooer in the house. The 8x10 is perfect in our dining area for our table which seats 4-6.

Bought the brown in the 3’3” x 19’. Love the color and the design although this is a very thin rug. IIf you are looking for Cush, don’t buy it! I haven’t had this long enough to rate the stain resistance. I gave it 3 stars because I believe this is an over priced runner for what you get. The packaging was sub-par which led to many wrinkles and bulges. And there were many, as you can see by my first photo the day it arrived. It didn’t smell very good either. Smelled of old musty storage. But, not wanting to have to ship the runner back, I got out my trusty steamer and spent an hour one day and an hour the next steaming out the bumps and it helped immensely, as you can see by the second photo. I do love the design and it looks perfect in our entry. Some say they don’t like the “two-way” nap appearance of the rug, but I think it’s cool. You can pick which direction you want to view the lighter or darker, entering or leaving. I am going to keep this rug. Would I recommend it? Only if you are patient enough to steam out the wrinkles and are okay with still having a few minor ones left over.

The workmanship - even if it’s mass produced - is excellent. Rug easy to spot clean. Had lingering odor but given its attractiveness did not overly bother me - and diminished over 3-days. No real wriggles. I unrolled in opposite direction it came rolled in. I’m using a pad gripper under the rug which hold rug firmly in the living room. Had second rug anchored by bed legs in bedroom. Otherwise the jute backing can move about a bit. Print & dye pattern is artistic and drawing very pleasant comments when viewed by others.
