I bought these for my 8-year-old son and to borrow for my agricultural classes. We are learning about plant cell types in Greenhouse (not the most exciting or straightforward topic) but we really enjoyed the slides I pulled for that lab yesterday. Here are some of the pics I took through the microscope. We attempted to label some of the different types we recognized. I also teach Animal Science and look forward to using them there. I wanted to update the slides that I had in my classroom and these were a great price. The images are clear and my students enjoyed looking at them. We did have trouble seeing some of the unicellular organisms, like E colia for example, as I can't get them to come into view, no matter what magnification and focusing tricks I try, it's almost as if there's nothing on the slide. Not professional but not horrible. They're mostly decent slides. The quality isn't top tier, there are a lot of bubbles, smears, uneven staining, and scratches. Good for the price though! Nice amount of specimens.
