I have been working with this resin for the last few months and am really happy with it. As a beginner, I find it easy to work with and as I have been learning and expanding my knowledge of pouring resin, I have found this resin really delivers in regards to clarity in finished pieces. I've been making skulls with this resin and it has been working great for making some of my more technical ideas become a reality. I've always had it harden consistently (I've noticed in reviews of other resins that sometimes others can have difficulties with that), it's easy to work with to get bubbles out, and it just delivers an overall great final product. I love this epoxy. I was so impressed how there is no smell. Every epoxy I've used, even ones that said no smell, had a strong smell. Mixing it together was good and easy. I mixed about 5 minutes or less before pouring. Some sat for a bit using different colors, but did not start hardening too soon. Overnight I let it sit. In the morning it hardened perfectly! Nice and durable. It doesn't yellow. Perfectly clear. Cleaning was easy. Again not having the smell helped alot. Definitely recommended! ... show more

Anyone that wrote a bad review on this, probably doesn't have a lot of experience with resin. I've been working with resin almost on a daily basis a little over 2years. I've experimented with different brands, heating mats, degassing chamber, room Temps and this brand is so far my favorite to work with. There's a trick to the zero bubble and it isn't how fast / slow you mix initially. My trick is, after mixing and ensuring that you don't have any striations, I pour the contents into another mixing cup(make sure to scrape the sides) then I place that cup gently into a bowl of really hot water.(Carefully, not to get water in the mix!). I then continue to alternate between mixing occasionally, slowly and letting it sit. After about 10 minutes, I take it out the bowl and let it sit another 5 or so. I have a meat thermometer, once it registers at 40 degree Celsius, I know I'm running out of time to pour into the mold. Anything cooler than that, you're good. Right before I pour it, I spray 91% alcohol a few times and give it another couple of slow twirls. And I have no problems with bubbles. (Keep in mind room temperature... my basement is always a cool, dry 67 degree Fahrenheit). I sold all my other clear pieces, but the one in the photo is one I decided to keep. It does have very little bubbles, because I was experimenting with a "melting" effect. The bubbles were caused when I placed the leaves. Note that submerging organic matter in resin may cause bubbles. This is obviously because organic matter has oxygen. You can try soaking it in alcohol first to reduce bubbles. Either way, I made this piece 8mths ago and it has zero yellowing. I've had other resin brands begin to yellow after only a month. ... show more

I love this resin. It’s clear, minimal bubbles, easy to use, and cures hard. It does have a longer cure time but if you have patience with that you’ll have a nice piece. Almost no odor to it which is nice. If you mix larger amounts it will heat up but I use silicone mixing cups and haven’t had any issues. If you’re pouring a thick piece it’s wise to pour in thin layers and remove any bubbles each layer because bubbles can be difficult to remove from a thick piece. I’ve been using this resin since I was a beginner without issue so I’m unsure why other reviewers think it’s troublesome for beginners.     • Didn't harden as much as I thought it would.
Touted as "Unleash your imagination with our non-toxic liquid glass epoxy resin. From stunning geodes to jewelry and coasters, the possibilities are endless...", this hardens nowheres near glass. After 5 days in a temp/humidity controlled shop, I can dent it easily with my fingernail, and on closer inspecion, can make out my fingerprint. . Oh, it's clear, odorless, easy to mix and handle, bubble-less, but it doesn't harden quite right. Yes, mixed correctly, both by weight (Mettler lab scale) and volume, Two batches, same results. I have been using resin for making objects for many years. I have tried almost every resin Amazon sells, & this is hands down the BEST resin made for pouring. It is low smell, low bubbles, sets in 45 mins, dries super clear with NO yellowing over time. I wish it was so expensive as I have gone through 8 gallons in less than 6 months. It is the only resin I trust. Ive tried cheaper brands & you get what you pay for. There are a few out there that are more expensive & so not worth it. Other brands overheat quickly, too thick & leaves bubbles deep in the item, yellows after a few months, & smells to high heaven. This is the product I keep coming back for. ... show more

    • Glossy Clear Cure!
I decided to try this product based off of extensive research and I must say I'm impressed! Very beginner user friendly and easy to use. It came with instructions and has no smell, however I did use property PPE when using this product. It pairs well with pigments I've used from other companies. I didn't have problems with bubbles. However when using resin you have to be mindful of the steps to take to reduce bubbling with any resin you are using. Cured crystal clear!!! Curing time was 24 hours the first time I used this product however the second time I used it, it took a little longer to cure but it was no fault of the product, it was a fault due to my own not having the temperature in the environment set properly which can be one of the few reasons why your resin pieces are not curing properly. Lesson learned!! I highly recommend buying a resin curing machine. Hopefully Unicone will come out with one!! Please do your due diligence and research before buying resin and then bashing the company with bad reviews you've purchased from not realizing it was a fault on your own that could have been easily avoided. Product worked as advertised and after a thorough mixing of the two parts, I had no issues with bubbles. Like water, it finds it’s own level, so make sure what your applying it to is level before you start. I formed up a stone table top. Keeping it from running through was the trick underneath. Had to form that up too, and still it found a way through in a couple of places. Sets up in the time described in the directions. ... show more
