Description

Whether you have a small project to do or a big one, we have everything you need! We have a 16oz, 32oz 1 gallon and 2 gallon kit available. Each kit includes 3 pairs of gloves, 2 cups, 4 sticks & 5 x 5g mica powder bags. When using epoxy resin with molds, you want to make sure that you have the right epoxy resin that won't damage your molds. Our Art & Craft resin is the perfect product to use with many kinds of molds. Whether you use epoxy resin as a hobby or as business, we are confident that our epoxy resin will meet your needs. With gloves on, pour equal amounts of resin (A) and hardener (B) into a mixing cup. Ex.: 250ml (A) with 250ml (B). If measuring by weight, use mixing ratio 100(A):90(B). Ex.: 400g (A) with 360g (B). Stir both parts slowly by hands for 4-5 minutes. Make sure to scrape the sides while stirring. Once done, you have around 30 minutes of working time. Pour the product into your mold/on your project. DO NOT scrape the resin out of the container, just dump it and leave the remaining material in the container. Tip: After pouring, you can quickly pass a blow torch a few inches over the resin to pop all the extra air bubbles. Depending on the thickness of your project, the curing time can take up to 60 hours. The thinner it is, the longer it takes to cure. If you need to do an additional pour, you can do do so between 6 to 12 hours after the last pour. If you wait longer than that, you will need to sand your project with some 180 or 220 grit sandpaper before doing an additional pour.

This is the best resin I have used so far. I live in Florida and work outside on my art. This behaves really well, even in some humidity. If I let it cure inside there's barely any bubbles ever. It's not yellowing in the hot sun n which is a huge bonus. I think for the price is the best. The company seems to support the artists that use their products as well!! This stuff works great as described. I mixed equal parts 1 to 1 and stirred for about 7 min like the web directions stated too, then poured it. It started to become solid by hour 5 and did a second flood coat or about 1/4" . 6 more hours did the final flood coat and it looms like glass. It's dry to the touch and now hardening perfectly. If ur arm isn't hurting before your timer ends in the mixing process you are not doing it right. Great product will use again. ... show more

    • Bubble-free but...

It's fantastic as far as having no problem bubbles in your pieces. However, with that being said, I have to say that I won't order this resin again. I've ordered it twice and twice there was some kind of filmy-looking substance on the top of the mixed resin, you can see it when you look from certain angles in the cup and at the molds. Unless you take something to remove that film while it's freshly poured (which is considerably frustrating and time consuming), then it causes a slightly cloudy effect on the finished piece. That's not an issue if you're using colors, but I create using a lot of clear. So, that's a big problem for me. After seeing it with the first gallon I ordered, I thought maybe I'd gotten a bad batch so I ordered another gallon. It's the same as the first. Either there's contaminants inside the bottles during production, or there's contaminants in the resin itself. ... show more

When I order this resin, it gets here in 2-3 days, much faster than other brands. It is always in good condition. It is shipped in heavy duty cardboard and secured very well. I haven't had that with other brands. Inside each package there are little goodies, not just resin. Sometimes silicone mixing cups. Sometimes mica. Always are included gloves for protection and stirring sticks. Even with all these goodies, this resin is equal in price or better priced than the competition.
