Q1: Why does it not cure even after putting it under UV light for hours?Why is it sticky/tacky? A: Please check if you are in one of the following situations. Since UV resin is not casting resin, any mold that is large, deep or opaque is not for UV resin. If you want to make coasters, trays, or any other objects larger than 8cm, UV resin is not what you are looking for. Epoxy resin will definitely do a better job. Not all pigments work with UV resin. You will need to use pigments that’s specially for UV resin. Alcohol inks, opaque pigments are NOT recommended. Specially notes for using black pigments: Black color, in any sort of pigment, is tricky to work with UV resin. Please mix a tiny amount of black pigment and cure it in layers. Or pour a clear layer of UV resin and cure it first, then add black UV resin on top. Please make sure you are using the correct UV light/lamp. If you are using a silicone mold, please make sure both the upper side and bottom side get enough UV light. That is to say,cure the back side under the UV light for the same time. If you add too much pigments, glitters, mica powder or other fillings, it won’t let enough UV light go through the UV resin to cure it properly.If it is sticky/tacky on the surface, you can simply coat a layer of clear UV resin. Let it cure under the UV light for 3-5 minutes. Q2: How to remove the bubbles? A: The more thicker the UV resin is, the more bubbles you will get when squeeze it out from the nozzle. And the viscosity of the UV resin will increase if the temperature is low. So heat up the UV resin is an effective way to reduce bubbles. Here are some tips may help:

This is my first time using resin and wasn’t even sure if resin would work on my charms project. The kit arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The UV light was surprisingly small but it’s not like I needed anything larger so I’m considering it a positive for ease of storage. The resin is ready to use and requires no mixing. I wasn’t sure how to use the “tools” so I opted for a tiny paintbrush and just dipped it directly into the bottle. I cycled the charms 3 times because I resin painted the charms in stages. It still felt a little tacky but after sitting and airing out about 5 minutes, the tackiness was gone. A couple of charms were sacrificed trying to get the method down so the resin wouldn’t pool; that’s why I ended up using the UV light in 3 cycles per charm. The included mat was a HUGE bonus! It provided enough coverage for my workspace. The smell is not pleasant at first but that’s to be expected. Personally, I think this is a great kit for a beginner. ... show more

This is my first time using UV resin and I love it! I followed the directions to a t and made this experiment pendant. I first did a small layer of resin and added gold leaf. Then I dried it for 2 minutes. Then I did another layer with glitter. Dried for 2 minutes and did one more layer of glitter and gold leaf just playing around. Dried perfect each time and I remembered to flip it over and dry that back too. It turned out beautiful and fully cured. There weren't many bubbles at all! It says to pour very close to the mold and I did that each time. I didn't need to warm the bottle in hot water. It's so easy! The resin does have a bit of an odor so I cracked a window open a tiny bit. This was a perfect starter kit and there is a lot of resin! The lamp works great! You can't charge it and have to plug it in to your own brick. The mat is great and so are the cups and stir sticks. It wasn't messy at all. I never got any on my fingers. I highly recommend this! I see people angry about the lamp being small but it works great so who cares. I actually like it small because I don't have much room on my desk. I'm excited to play around some more and I'll post more pictures later. It's so fun and easy and makes beautiful jewelry. I'll never use epoxy resin for jewelry again! I am new to resin so I wasn’t sure exactly what to buy but this ended being exactly what I needed. It is a UV reactive resin so it cures with UV or sunlight. Luckily it comes with the UV light! I haven’t needed to use the mixing cups as I was simply dropping it onto jewelry to reinforce the charms. It cured super fast! And it is perfectly hard. It comes with instructions for first time users and has plenty in the kit. This is clear, but you should be able to due it with the correct resin dye. ... show more

Product has been amazing for someone who has never used resin before. Though with every product ever made to existence, theres pros & cons to everything. Heres my list- Pros: -user friendly, easy to use and straight forward with instructions. -cures nicely -works great with resin friendly powders/glitters. -convenient and priced properly for a good amount of projects (ive done about six precent decently scaled projects and havent even finished the first bottle) Cons: -even tho low oder, if you are sensitive to smells, you might wanna wear a mask. Im not typically sensitive but ive noticed I get nauseous after use for about an hour before it settles. -if youre sensitive to light, the uv lamp might be best covered or used to the side where it wont affect your eyes. -the product GETS EVERYWHERE. The mat, the tools, the bottle tip. Its best to keep some sort of wet wipe or wipe to help get rid of the extra stuff while working. -UV light is small and tends to get warm. (Not really too much of a concern but thought id mention.) -UV light curing can affect certain holographic vinyls/materials. Ive noticed with my blueish toned holo it tends to make a portion of it white in the transition. Though it still fits the holo very nicely, this could be an issue for those selling products and wanting to keep to the original look. Overall, this product is super effective, affordable, and easy to use. If you mess up you can peel it away from gloss vinyl which is convenient for mistakes. It sands nicely when cleaning up projects, its durable after completion and looks beautiful on final products. This was a great kit to try out making some resin items, but the light is SMALLER than you may expect. I ended up curing things outside in full sunlight much faster. It isn't safe to look into the light or to smell the resin while it's setting up, but it was nice to use the light to finish a small project and night. I really liked the protective mat and the bottles themselves were easy to use. I made about 20 objects of about 1" square from the amount given. I’ve got to say, this Kit is awesome! The resin itself is extremely clear and has virtually no odor, which makes working with it significantly more enjoyable. What really blew me away is how quickly it cures under the included UV light—within minutes, my pieces were ready to go. It’s perfect for jewelry and small craft projects, and the silicone mat is a nice bonus to help keep things clean.
