Comes with an extra controller and has several games and provides the ability to even connect it to a bigger TV. I only wish that it had an ability to add more games like some emulators do given the high cost of this.

The most expensive personal gaming system ever released was the early 90s Neogeo, which sold for $650, or about ten times the price of this item adjusted for inflation. Moreover this comes preloaded with games, if you bought that earlier Neogeo you had to pay separately for game cartridges. The modern version is also superior for having an HDMI output, so you can play the games on a big screen. The games of course are extremely primitive by modern computer gaming standards, and are widely available free (if unlicensed) for emulators. The only reason to buy this is nostalgia for the original console format of the game, which was a rare luxury cult item in the 1990s. It does not even include the most popular Neogeo games, it's a collection of second-tier releases. Given that most top-tier Neogeo releases were already knock-offs of more popular arcade games, you're not getting premium games. But just as some people like B-movies more than A-pictures, there's a low-budget, wacky, independent feel to these games, with their mix of Japanese and garbled English, silly backstories and terms and jagged action. The manufacturing quality is good. The buttons and toggles work smoothly--both on the machine itself and a plug-in remote that can be used for two-player action. The display is clear, although the low resolution of the graphics makes that almost a disadvantage.
