I installed 1 is these in each of our children’s closets. They hold a decent battery life but they are definitely VERY dim when they are telling you they want a recharge. The motion detectors are solid and pick up even the slightest movement. Good and bad I guess. Being as they are in my kids closets and they have no idea how to shut a closet door the light comes on even if they just roll over in bed. Probably another reason I feel I have to charge them more often. I would absolutely buy again but next time I would think more carefully about where I place them, or maybe I just need to teach my kids how to shut their closet doors. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I installed these in my pantry. They come on when I open the doors. I live in an older home with lots of trees so the house is a bit dark in certain areas. I love that these are rechargeable. It has been two months that I purchased my first set of these lights and they still have not needed to be charged up. I purchased the larger size for my son's walk in closet. It has a light but I placed in under a shelf to illuminate the items below (shoes, etc.) I am already thinking of other areas that these would work great (under the sink in the kitchen and baths). I have been looking at good rechargable undercabinet lighting for months now. I Ordered these lights because I wanted some under cabinet lighting and inside the the cabinet. And based of reviews and videos I have seen online it seemed like a good purchase. 1 issue I had was one of the lights was diffective and turned on and off all the time even though it was in the cabinet where there was nothing to active the sensor. It doesn't last a month like the claims if you put it under your cabinets above your counter top at full brightness, which i feel most people will have it on. It will last maybe about 1.5 - 2 weeks fully charged, if it's in like a cabinet drawer that you don't open often I can last up to a month. Other than that they can make you feel like your in a fancy house lol ... show more

This light makes no discernable heat over my kitchen sink. Convenient, removable battery for charging uses almost zero electricity compared to the head-baking, finger burning bar light that I had been using previously and which had used a LOT of electricity. Motion detector on these cordless bar lights is wonderful. These over the counter lights come on when I show up and turn off when they detect no motion.
