I just received the chair so I can't say much except that it appears to be excellent quality. I will rate it again a couple of years down the road as to how well it holds up under typical home office use. Assembly is another issue. While it would appear that assembly should be simple and straightforward, it is but you need some help or the right tools. The issue is fitting the back rest onto the seat armrest assembly. This is a three hand task as you have to compress the seat and back rest cushions to get the nut hole lined up, hold it in place and then insert the bolt and carefully tighten it. I say carefully, as it is easy to cross thread when you are try to hold it in place. The locktight on the nuts (which is very good to have) makes it deceptive relative to cross threading since it makes it tight and hard to turn when the threads are first going in. I was assembling my chair by my self, but, I was fortunate to have clamps that I could use to compress the seat and back cushions together while I was bolting them together. All in all, it appears to be a good quality chair and, once assembled, it should provide years of good service. ... show more
