I wish I had bought this product years ago to add lighting to a closet off my office that has no lights. The closet was designed as a clothing closet with two sliding doors, so at least half of the closet was very dark, and the other half, not much better, since all of the lighting in my office comes from individual lamps. Two of these REDONES totally solved my dark closet problem. I placed one on the wire shelf, pointing down to illuminate the bottom of my closest where I stash computers and audio-visual equipment, and the other I placed above the doors, illuminating the closet shelf area where I store boxes of computer and electronic equipment. As you can see, from the pictures, both areas are well-lit. The features on these lights are quite amazing, probably even more than I need. With simple button presses you can change the warmth of the lighting and whether or not you want dimming. You can also choose whether you want to turn it on and off manually or use the motion detector. I chose the latter, and the light on the shelf for illuminating the floor comes on instantly when I open the closet door, while a simple hand wave in front of the light for illuminating the shelf turns it on. As advertised, the lights go off within 20 second of no motion when I shut the closet door. The mounting is extremely easy. There are two magnetic brackets with a sticky surface for mounting; this is what I used above my closet doors. The stickiness is excellent, holding everything in place, and if I want to remove the light I can do so by simply pulling it away from the magnetic brackets. No fancy hardware required. Another great feature of this product is that they supply two batteries, so you can keep backups charged up whenever you need to replace the battery attached to the light. I do not have to do this often because I do not go into my closet frequently, and the batteries last quite a long time. But it is great to have backups, and replacement is easy--just pull out the installed battery and plug in the new one. Somebody obviously spent a lot of time thinking about how to make this product easy to use and full of useful features. I can recommend it highly. ... show more

Each pack contains two separate lights with its own charging cord(you will need a block or USB charger for them) and they do need to be recharged over time. So far it seems to last awhile in between charges as I havnt had to charge one bar yet(it's been a few weeks of being happy owner). Buttons to operate are very easy to understand and lights are held by two magnets you stick to the surface you're trying to light up. They seem to hold well and havnt disconnected on its own or anything. Quick motion detection with adjustable light settings of three kinds. At best, IN AUTOMATIC MODE, I got two or three days out of these lights. Unfortunately, I ordered three sets! Only one of which I was able to return (return window issues). BAD PRODUCT! Taking down the lights every few days, and having them inactive for the LENGTHLY charging time (to get a full charge) makes them practically useless and a complete hassle. We have more important things to do in the kitchen than constantly maintaining these pathetic lights! They were supposed to help; not hinder, our kitchen experience. Useless! ... show more
