Negative stars. Don’t buy it. This review refers to the Multi-styler, not the curler. This is the biggest frustration I’ve had with any hair/beauty product I’ve ever bought. It says it lasts 25 min, but only to get it “hot” it takes forever. The plates don’t touch the hair unless you do very thick portions of hair. I like to style the end of my hair just so it’s not too spiky, but my hair stays the same because the end of my hair is thin, so the plates don’t touch it. It doesn’t even get slightly wavy. As for the curling part, needless to say that it doesn’t work. I usually use my CHI flat iron at 360•, but this one, it wouldn’t even get my hair hot. You would think it’s good—we’ll, In this case, it doesn’t get hot work at all. I increased the temperature to 400• and still could not get anything done in my hair. Like a n y t h i n g. It doesn’t work in either one of its function. Also, every time I tried it, some hair would get stuck to it, it’s so annoying. I am so disappointed. I checked every millimeter of this tool because I just could not conceive the disappointment. I found that it seems there’s a little piece broken at the bottom, yet, I don’t think that would be the problem, this tool is such a waste of money and it’s a lie! Don’t buy it. ... show more

Haven’t tried any other cordless straighteners but I feel like this one is a good choice. It does what I need it to do (small touch ups when on the go). I’ve tried to straightn my entire head of hair just to see how the product would hold up. My hair is medium length, pretty thick, course and naturally wavy so it takes work to straighten. On a full battery, I got all but the top layer of my hair straightened. Not bad! Having the curling option is also a bonus. My only complaint is it doesn’t get as hot as my straightener at home does, but I think that’s just a result of it being cordless. Absolutely not worth it. Wish I could return it or at least get credit for it. Has a horrible battery life, barely heats up, and worst of all it actually PULLS OUT your hair and get it stuck in between the curling/straightening plates which absolutely hurts and irritates you to your core. I know in theory it seems very convenient especially if you travel but it’s NOT worth it if it doesn’t even heat up to curl or straighten your hair. ... show more

My hair is very thin and fine, and this is perfect for it! I do wish the barrel was longer. My hair takes curls well, so I’ve had a hard time finding something that will just give me the beach waves look, and this does it well! I tried the straightener this morning and it worked great too! I don’t understand how people are saying they’re getting their hair stuck in it...I had no problems. I will say I do not recommend it if you have very thick hair! Battery life is only 1/2 hour or so depending on the setting, and with my hair it only takes me about 10 minutes, so it’s perfect, but my kid with thick, long hair takes way longer, and this won’t be on that long. Overall a great product! I love that I don’t have to fight with the cord, and if I accidentally leave it on, the battery will die before long so no worries! ... show more

I was so excited to find a cordless flat + curling iron combo. What a great idea. I've been searching for something like this forever. This is not the one though. Quality is terrible: it snags and rips out hair with every swipe, it's barely warm at 400F and barely does anything to my (very fine) hair, takes a while to warm up which drains the already limited battery life, and you can't warm up the flat iron and curler at the same time.
