Overall, this solar animal repeller purchase was not a good purchase. The audible alarm sounded continuously when no animals or people were in the vicinity. I tried moving the device and also turning the alarm off for awhile and then turning it back on. The problem kept repeating itself. I finally just turned the audible alarm off completely. The LED lights did work however. I returned this product for a refund. I also need to mention that the company did not send me the same model as advertised

I'm not sure this device is ultrasonic at all. It emits a very clearly audible "alarm" sound and flashes LED lights (even on the ultrasonic settings). We'll see if it'll deter random feral cats or not.
