I bought this hoping it would address my rabbit problem. I literally held this thing in front of a wild rabbit chilling on my front lawn munching on grass from a few feet away. Nine of the settings bothered the rabbit a bit. It doesn't work. I since learned from online research that none of the pest "deterrents" really work. Even if it works initially, the animals soon get acclimated and resume invading your property. The only effective way of dealing with pests is access denial and physical removal. I put a fence around my yard, and deliberately left an opening, at which I placed a trap cage with a slice of apple as bait. For three days in a row I caught three rabbits, which I released far away in the wild. And now I have no more rabbit problem! ... show more

We still don’t know what was eating the cucumber plants — but they’re gone now! Now we’ve got plenty of cucumber for pickles and the asparagus is doing great too. I only wish we bought it earlier in the season.

I had it for less than a week. It worked good for 2 days than after that the battery won’t stay charged at night time. I bought a solar one so that at night time it would keep the deers away from my property. Waste of money if it can’t old charge long enough at night. I will not buy new batteries for a device that I bought in less than a week. They should have included an extra battery just in case the one inside failed to hold charge ... show more

Have been bothered by a pesky raccoon on my back deck. Made several messes tipping things over and scattering recyclables. Since putting up solar animal repellent, I have not been bothered!

Bought this because it advertises that it will repel cats., it does not, not on any setting. I also have difficulty keeping it charged. It’s in full sun and runs out of juice during the night. I do. It recommend.

    • Works pretty good
It lets out a very loud noise (high pitched) and it’s hard to get the right amount of sensor turned, so I turn both knobs all the way over. I do have to go out each morning to turn it off because I can imagine my neighbors hating me with this thing going off every time they or their animals walk by. My only concern is if it’s actually water proof. I again have to go out before the sprinklers turn on to pick up and move so it doesn’t break. No raccoons in my yard so far! ... show more

Product arrived 7/6/23, set it up & didn’t deter ferro cats. Have 2 cats on video entering my yard, to sit by my fish pond at night, hoping to kill a goldfish. The unit is right at the small yard pond. Cats still sat there. Unit was on setting 5. Infrared, picture, on lower right you can see it’s, eyes lit up.
