I bought the Violet Splendor Heather in a small. Later, I bought the Ebony in a medium. The medium has a little more room and looser fit, but doesn't seem much longer. If you're looking for a shorter jacket then this is a good choice. The inside is a soft, fuzzy sweatshirt type material. The outside is not very soft though. This is a light jacket and I wear it around the house most of the time. I only wear it outside in warmer conditions. After many washes, neither jacket is shrinking or fading. The zippers work well too. One thing I don't like about this jacket is the lack of a tie for the hood itself. I don't like to wear this jacket in windy conditions because I can't tie it on tighter. I am a little on the round side so am never sure if an XL or 1X is the right size. I like my hoodies to fit a little snuggly as I often wear them under a bomber style jacket. This XL was a little roomy on me....roomier than I would have expected an XL to be. I expected it to be a thicker cotten material with no fleeciness to it but....the inside is fleecy so not sure if it will wash well or be the weight I really wanted. I don't really use the hoods so the style of the hood doesn't bother me as it has others. I did order it in Navy Heather and it came in straight Navy. I guess from previous comments I should be grateful as from the photo I thought it would be a more subdued Navy but others have said it's more gray with flecks of Navy and I wouldn't have liked that. So....I am giving this purchase 3 stars....not exactly what I thought it would be and the wrong color was shipped but for the price I will keep it and hope the zipper doesn't break and it doesn't cause an issue once it's washed. ... show more

She liked the hoodie. It's soft and light-weight for a sweatshirt, true pale pink, a thinner fleece, which was fine with her. The fit was bigger than she expected. I bought a large (12 - 14) because I thought that was her size per the size guide. I'm finding more often that Hanes garments sometimes run larger than she likes. I returning for a medium to see if that suits her better. The hoodie looks wide out of the packaging and she wants a more fitted look, not baggy around the middle. I may even buy her a small just to compare. I guess if you have a wider mid-section, this will be fine. All in all, very nice hoodie. ... show more

A go-to sweatshirt in black (charcoal) - I like the color, Small fits me very well, and is a good mid-weight. Cozy and warm! I am 5'1' tall and 110 lbs - slim but not skinny. I highly recommend!
