  • Great, except I wish it could use batteries
This definitely helps keep the critters away. After 10 minutes all the dogs in the neighborhood stopped barking when I put it on red light. The red light has different human audible sounds and flashing light. the function with the red light is sensitive to sounds, so it detects noises plus varies in sounds it produces, so animals do not get used to one sound. I usually keep it on green light because I have pets. On green light it keeps the squirrels away. The hard thing is that I needs to be plugged in at all times to work so we have to have an extension cord. I thought from the images that it could be charged, but these did not hold a charge for me. It comes with a short USB-C cable that you could use in place of the 3 prong plug. The blue light had constant sounds coming out of it and really freaked out all the animals in the area. I could hear noises on every function mode, but many people are not sensitive to the higher frequencies. The blue light function gives me headaches the worst. With the product outside, I could ignore the frequencies and was worth it to keep the animals at bay. ... show more

  • It keeps out squirrels!
My father is a Disabled Vietnam Vet and basically his driving days are over due to health issues. He keeps his Surburban in the drive way and I drive it randomly on and off. Everynow and then, I'll catch a nest of squirrel nuts in the engine bay. All over the place. Every tiny corner you can think of!! They like putting their darn nuts all on the intake manifold, behind the air filter box and behind the head lights. I bought this and have an extension cord and place it right in front of the manifold on top. I do this when not going to drive it awhile. IT WORKS!! Had it for awhile and they don't go near it!! Heck the sound it makes, makes me not wanna stick around. ... show more

  • The setting #3 (blue light) was enough to make a raccoon leave my house.
These work great. I had a raccoon who got in through a large roof vent and was over my library ceiling. She couldn’t access the attic from there, but I needed to get her out. Important to know that this is winter, and she was therefore not pregnant and not with pups. One critical thing I learned, is that setting one of these repellers at the highest noise setting (blue light), was sufficient to get her to come out. The instructions say they should be kept vertical and not allowed to become horizontal. So I took a plastic jug 3”x5”,6” and cut a place for the plug-in prongs to fit through from the outside of the jug and added some heavy stoned to keep it upright. I then put the receptacle end of an extension cord inside, tied a knot within a few inches and put the plug through a hole I cut in the screw top of the jar. I lowered the pest repeller taped outside of the jug with the extension cord attached inside, and lowered it into the house through the vent. This was to keep it vertical so it wouldn’t lay down which it would otherwise have done. However, I found out that if they get unplugged or you have an outage, even brief, they will reset at the lowest setting. I wanted the highest noise setting. What happened is that at first it worked, then it didn’t and she went right back in. Here’s what happened: within 1 day of the Pest Repeller being inside with the raccoon, she got uncomfortable and came out of the roof vent she had been entering. I was planning to catch her off the roof so I could install a cage box I ordered (and was waiting to receive) over the vent to keep her out. After staying away, the next day she came back and went right in. I was frustrated, then remembered a brief outage the day before. I went on the roof and retrieved the unit and saw it was reset on the lowest setting. So I reset it and put it back in the opening and also added another one I bought. I figured out with this one, all I really had to do was to plug the unit into the receptacle end of an extension cord, tape them together, then lower it down, but not let it bottom out, which kept it vertical. The reason they have to be taped together is because it could come unplugged and the unit would be gone. The cage box that I had ordered finally arrived and I decided to make it like a trap…to trap her outside of it. I installed 2 hinges in the back with that side upwards on the roof, positioned so that if closed, it would completely enclose the vent. On the front, (lower side of the roof) I set it up so the front was held up with 2 sticks. That night she came out and knocked over the sticks, the cage dropped down and she was locked out. Yay!!! The main thing was to bring her out and the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller did the job. Otherwise she would still be in there. By the way, the reason I knew so much about what she was doing is that I temporarily hooked up a Ring Stickup Camera and it would wake me up at night when she was out on the roof. That helped a lot, because when she finally got locked out, I was not home and out to dinner with friends. I raced home and she was gone. ... show more

  • I think it worked
The red is annoying as hell to me, which means it’s probably annoying to rats. I did see a difference after a few days of using this on red. We unplugged it and literally about 5 minutes later, a family of rats came out of the vent. We turned it back on after that and haven’t seen them since. I almost think they wanted to leave but we’re too afraid to go by the noise so when it stopped they dashed for it. I’ve never seen 5 come out at a time. I also noticed a rat stare into the hole we put it into in the ground and a rat walked up and started scratching at its ears, it seemed confused at what it wanted to do. So, 4 stars because I think it did a good job, but would give another star if you could control it remotely (annoying to keep pulling it up to change it from the vent/hole in the ground) ... show more

  • Great affordable hair removal tool!
I really like this tool for my legs, I don't really use it on more sensitive areas like my bikini line or underarms. This does take a time to warm up, but I would just set it up early like while I was in the shower and it worked great. It is just so quick for legs, takes a few minutes really and lasts long than shaving (and looks better too). Only thing I dislike maybe is that this particular tool can get a little messy, but I don't know how much of that was first-time consumer error versus how the tool is (or the quality of the cartridges). I look forward to finding out. ... show more

  • No more noises inside the walls
It seems to work, and I will likely buy more units. I use the yellow setting in rooms where I don't often stay (you can hear the low buzzing of the device); however, after a few days, whatever was crawling inside the walls is gone!
