I put six of these bright white ultrasonic speakers around my two-story house three weeks ago. Simply sliding each unit into separate rooms was all that was required for installation; there were no tools required, and there were no dirty sprays. It took just a few seconds for the little LED indicators to start producing a gentle green pulse, which indicated that the devices had begun outputting their ultrasonic frequencies. One of them was placed in the living room next to the couch, another was placed in the kitchen close to the pantry, and the other four were placed in the bedroom suite, garage, and basement regions, all of which were places where I had previously seen ants, spiders, and the rare mouse dropping. Around the third day, the number of crawling ants that were crawling over the backsplash in the kitchen decreased from a steady line at breakfast to nearly none at all. When I examined beneath the stairs, I did not discover any new webs, and a few stray spiders that had taken up home in the corners of the basement gradually disappeared with the passage of time. Anxious, I kept an eye out for crumbs in the pantry, which are a popular magnet for insects. However, I was relieved to see that none of the unmistakable tracks that I had previously cleaned up every day were there. In the past, I would find very little droppings along the rear wall of the garage, and sometimes throughout the night, I would hear a faint scrambling sound. Those noises completely stopped when a repeller was plugged in directly next to the tool rack, and there were no additional droppings that occurred in the days that followed. Rather than constructing traps or utilizing poisons, I had simply created an atmosphere that seemed hostile to them. The stillness that prevailed in the garage was a clear indication of this conclusion. It was quite straightforward to operate the gadget. It begins operating right away when you plug it in. It makes no noise at all, but there is a faint LED light that lets you know it's on. I like that it appears contemporary and doesn't stand out in our home. After approximately a week, I saw that there were fewer ants on the floor near the rear door, and the bugs that were crawling about in the bathroom were gone too. More than two weeks have passed, and it really seems like the bugs are staying away from our area. The best part is that this solution doesn't smell or hurt anyone, which is ideal for someone like myself who is sensitive to chemicals and sprays. We have a dog and a little child at home, so it's nice to know that this repeller won't hurt anyone. I put one in the kitchen, one in the garage, and one in the living room, so it covers a lot of ground. Since I hooked it in, I haven't noticed any evidence of mice in the garage. This is a big gain because they used to sneak in every autumn.
