Huge help is keeping my surgical wounds clean. I had a full sternotomy and my entire chest was cut open with a large hole below that for chest tubes. After going home I still had open wounds that had to heal as well as my still fresh surgical scar. This was great. Soaked gauze and placed it on there and put a bandage over it. My only issue is with why do I always get products from Amazon store or sellers which doesn't have a non tampering security safeguard on it.
