I have used these for at least 15 years. We have at least one in every room in Florida.(Doubled up in kitchen). We have only seen one palmetto bug in the last year. In Ohio, we hardly have any spiders in our basement. Used to see a lot of spider webs before we started using these. They also serve as a very faint nightlight. Just enough to navigate. Love 'um. Try 'um.

First day of use, going to see how it goes for the week it looks fine connected easy to use, but I did notice a annoying, clicking sound emitting from the device checked all the other plugs. They do the same thing going to keep monitoring it, but I was sold on the fact that it was silent it is not
