I have reviewed a lot of IPL devices. Mostly they're pretty unimpressively similar to one another. That said, a handful of brands, among the large number I have tested, have stood out. One of those is Ulike. These tend to offer premium performance and quality build (though at a price). Note that while this is sold as a "men's" IPL (relatively unusual), it's not clear to me that there's much difference between this IPL and those commonly marketed primarily to women. Honestly, this should be suitable for both sexes--just like most IPLs. Features of this IPL include: 1) The refractory period between flashes in automatic mode is faster than most 2) The ICE cooling/local epidermal cooling effect is appreciably better on this device than on many I've tested. The head remains very cool even during a long use period. This is of significant value if you plan to use this device in automatic mode, where you'll be flashing your skin very rapidly. 3) Double flashing. The IPL provides two flashes very closely together, which should improve efficiency. The performance of this IPL is unquesitonably superior to many of the IPL devices I've tested (and I have tested a lot). Specifics of this IPL device: ** Only performs hair removal. ** Includes ICE skin cooling functionality ** Three power levels (fast, normal, high) ** No LCD readout of flash number (rated for 300,000 flashes) ** "Oblong" shaped unit ** The power cord attaches to the end of the unit (see photos) ** No attachments to change the flash end shape Using very slow-motion photography, I captured a snapshot of the light (see photos). But the light duration is extremely short. You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will see no immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas. This device provides "Ice" cooling, and is far more effective at cooling than many IPL devices I've tested. This is particularly important for a device like this, which can flash very quickly. "Ice" is another term for "local epidermal cooling." This is local cooling of the surface skin where the IPL light pulse is being applied. Epidermal cooling is optional for efficient use, but it may make it less unpleasant to use the device for some users. This IPL performs double flashing, where two flashes in quick succession occur when you press the flash button. This helps shorten the length of treatment per session. In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, an inexpensive portable razor, a soft-sided travel bag, plus instructions. While this is one of the more expensive IPL devices sold on Amazon, this unit does justify the added cost in a few ways: A relatively short refractory period between flashes, double flashing, and very powerful ICE cooling. From a function perspective - this is a truly effective product, and much more so that lower priced competitors. I have ALWAYS had pain when using IPL tools, despite their claims otherwise. This one is about as pain free as I could hope for - finally! The use modes are simple and effective. The dual flash mode helps move things along, while the Ice / cooling mode is very effective at skin recovery. After several uses, nothing beats this tool - hands down the best and worth every penny given the speed, comfort, and efficiency granted by way of this highly professional product.

This is a very high quality laser hair removal. The quality of the product is something to talk about! So I was other reviews for the brand before I decided to try it. This definitely helped with growing less hair. You can use everyday but it’s not going to be painless at first. As you proceed the pain will subside. This helps the hair to grow slower. The remover is easy to use and you will definitely see the difference! So happy about this remover! I recommend it.
